Fusions are great counters for close-medium weapons like HC's or close-range weapons like shotguns. It pisses people off. They want every kill on a silver platter in the mouth of a suckling pig.

That's why I try to shove my IB Fusion in their mouth when they rush with a Shottie. However when I miss I know I'm screwed. Lol

I almost exclusively used fusions in PvE in my secondary spot all the way up to my first King's Fall where I learned that snipers were the only way to go. Very fun guns to use, though I'm purely a sniper in PvP right now. I want to try them out some more some time though. I was working my Warlock up and I decided to take a break and bring the Murmur into Crucible. I only broke even in K/D, but damn, it was a fun match.
