Thanks a lot, OP. You made me google this and learn today. You bastard...

7 RepliesHooters should be able to hire whoever they choose. If they choose to not hire men for certain jobs there shouldn't be a problem.
-
3 RepliesThis great philosophical and moral quandary was addressed to great detail in an Emmy-winning episode of the classic anime series, King of the Hill. I suggest watching to realize how sexist Hooters can really be when it comes to not having male employees and why it needs to change to adapt in this modern society.

3 RepliesTheres an episode of King of the Hill about this very question.
-
That would kind of defeat its purpose but whatever equality right?
guarantee there wouldn't be equality in tips though.
1 ReplySure if they can pull off the uniform go ahead.XD

1 ReplyI should be able to wear those shorts and see through white tank tops. Discrimination is a bitch.
-
6 RepliesNo. What should happen, is that Hooters should open a side restaurant called Schlongs, where there are male waiters in tight pants who take viagra before going on shift.

Edited by Steve of Steves: 9/14/2016 10:31:09 PMSure, why not? 90% of the women who work at the Hooters in my area are barely rocking A-cups anyways. If they can find a guy with b-cups, hire him. Equality.

Edited by LahDsai: 9/15/2016 11:43:53 AMThey utilize a bona-fide occupational qualification, which basically means that employees must meet a certain standard in order to perform the job as it's meant to be performed. It's the same thing that would allow a movie studio to turn away women auditioning for the role of George Washington. That's not to say they haven't been challenged before. They have, but usually end up settling out of court. Also, they've established male positions other than waitors (such as chefs) to "compensate".

1 ReplyNo they can only be the pimp I mean manager.
