Best scout rifle not named MIDA
What are your favorite scouts and what perks do you use? I have two. "Treads upon stars" with explosive rounds, crowd control and grenadier for pve. it is a raid slaughter tool that allows me to take adds out and spam grenades! it absolutely sucks (or I am bad with it) in crucible. For crucible I use "An Inward Lamp" with full auto, small bore and hidden hand. The thing is, I have a vault full of other scouts that I haven't even touched and I was wondering what you all use?

Start using the highest impact archetype of scouts. They're 3 shot kills. Highest ttk in the game technically outside of hc's with LiTC of course. I don't even bother using Mida because I know I'm going to win an engagement because his 4th shot isn't coming out when I've already got the 3 shots I've needed for a kill. The high impact archetypes are EXTREMELY underrated. I suggest getting a Cocytus, hand of judgement, or badger CCL with good rolls. They have a slight learning curve because if you're no landing those crits back to back, it ups the TTK and you could lose an engagement. However, the risk vs reward for them are great. I highly suggest it.

1 ReplyJade Rabbit Cocytus Colovance's Duty Tlaloc In that order of preference for crucible. I have several different scouts which are all great for pve. Keen to try them all out soon. But most importantly for both pve and pvp, Boolean Gemini is probably gonna become my most used scout unless there are newer cooler scouts in RoI. The high caliber rounds on top of a great sounding, looking weapon with unflinching and the agility perks.... so useful. New loadout I'm gonna try this weekend: Boolean + conviction II sidearm
