UPDATE: After contacting Playstation support, I learned that because I purchased the Taken King on a PS3 and then subsequently upgraded to a PS4, I wasn't given a license to the Taken King DLC because it is non-transferrable (despite the base game and all prior expansions being transferrable). Playstation said I need to repurchase the Taken King, and that I should take this up with Bungie since they are the developers of the game and are the ones controlling the transferability of their DLC. Below is the transcript from that chat session. But seriously, what the actual -blam!-?! Why does it feel like I'm being punished for buying this content on an older console, and then upgrading later to a PS4 afterwards? You're screwing over the player base that bought the Taken King at launch, and then decided to get a PS4 for Christmas.
