You definitely should've mentioned Cabal reinforcements seeing as of pre-RoI they're the biggest known threat to us.
Yes we do know they "launched a detailed distress signal to the head of the Cabal empire" yeah you -blam!-ed up by not including that little nugget.
Also worth noting that if you're only including stuff that the Vanguard knows and not stuff that we the players know your guide loses a lot of value. I mean I thought the point of it was to inform readers of what's going on before our next adventure begins. If you leave out things just because our player character isn't aware you aren't offering as much meaningful information and your guide just becomes a glorified list of stuff we've killed.

We don't no what the cabals next play is. All we know is they got a "we are -blam!-ed" signal. As a state of how things are right this second that post was accurate. The cabal are all but defeated at this point. However I agree they are likely sending a battlegroup this way to take over from the scout legionary

If you were giving this to Zavala as a report on the whereabouts of our enemies and allies he'd be pissed to find out you left the distress signal out. I'm not asking for him to speculate on how big the reinforcements that might not even show up are, simply mentioning the distress signal is enough. On another note there are things that we the players know that none of the in-game characters know that might have been helpful to include, like where Prince Uldren is.

So zavla would be equally pissed in waffling in a report that was just about wtf is going on right now. The distress signal would fall into a future / possible threat report. Which would include the HIVE 2 sisters. Vex reinforcing the sol system. And possible actions by desperate fallen houses It's like your Sargent asking how many know combatants does a base have and waffling on about force projections for hours when a UAV team comes back and answers 20 now would be a good time to attack Edit: no disrespect intended every nation handles Intel differently

And. It doesn't change the nature of this post Which is essentially a force report of enemies in this system. The cabal are currently a none threat. Current ground teams should focuse on kings which are the ACTIVE threat. Ikoras hidden would focuse on any cabal retaliation. But that's a whole different area of the vanguard. I'm not disputing the the signal was important event! but it's not important to this report which is who is biggest threat right now. Not really... learning which information is important and what is not is important skill this report was not detailing future threats It's why we have word limits to make sure only the important details get in. If this was real situation zavla likely has a separate task force looking into it. Likely titled "future threats team or somthing" . Either way none of us are gunna budge on this 😊 was still a good peace work regardless
