Are we going to get any update on the "Film Grain" effect?
Is there a Hotfix for it coming this week?
Is it a bug that will resolve itself when the visual effects from Tess are available?
Was it intensional?

It definitely wasn't intentional. They wouldn't have listed it on the list. Plus if you noticed the load screens of your ships flying or when the characters are loading into the crucible map the grain is gone. I am concerned that roi will drop with this bug ruining the experience. Destiny always had a great style, lighting, and smoothness to it. The grain makes it all a mess. I am hoping to play roi without this issue because like I said will ruin the experience.

I know, it's always clear up until the character loads then it goes to crap. I'm really hoping this maintenance today clears it up.

Lol, when the update finished and I loaded up the game I noticed the image was grainy from across the room (60" HD tv). I went up to the screen to make sure the TV was ok. I went through a few screens and thought to myself "this looks like I'm playing on an old CRT TV, I remember Destiny having better quality than this". Then I saw the "film grain" note in known issues. At least they acknowledge the existence of this issue.
