Still having the issue. Destiny is unplayable for me right now. Any suggestions how to at least improve it. Motion sickness and eye strain.

Something very suspicious is happening. BTW, Bungie is live playing right now on Twitch and ''magically'' the are not affected by the grain effect and worse they say they are investigating but in the Stream they sounds like they don't even care a bit about those who are affected, it's like they are treating us like left behinds. I has been playing Destiny since September 2014 and the game NEVER looked this bad, it's literally horrible. Note: Need for Speed 2015 from ghost do HAVE a Film Grain Effect that make the game almost unplayable worse than this one and despite the complains they never fix it, is not even fixed at this date yet, so I have a bad feeling with the possibility that Bungie may not going to fix anything as is not happening to all people. Also turning Game Mode OFF helps but did not remove it and BTW I always played with Game Mode OFF so this grain film effect is something that wasn't before not even in the smallest scale before the last update. Destiny is one of the most beautiful, bright, clear, and nice looking resolution online videogame that you can play and now this grain effect is so bad that the game looks absolutely horrible, horrible!!! IMPORTANT DETAIL: I managed to notice that the film grain effect DOES NOT APPEAR in the scene where your spaceship is flying towards a destination. Not when you are choosing your destination but at the end after the ''loading'' portion of the spaceship flying towards a planet. Also when I start the game there is no grain effect until my character appears in the character selection screen, the image at first looks good but just at the moment my character figure is visible in the selection screen the film grain effect kicks in and stays until you quit the game.

Same issue Og Xbox1 Samsung tv

Yeah i have had it since the rise of iron and not only does it hurt my eyes its really annoying and i miss the beautiful graphics so much :(
-
On my Sony bravia I have found out that if you got to picture adjustments then advanced settings then clarity if you turn the resolution down to min it will remove film grain
-
If you turn tv of gaming mode this improves it
-
Do know when this issue will be fixed as it's driving me mad!

-
-
Lol I've tried playing on different accounts and no luck. I'm multi-grain!
-
Apologies Jonesy. Some others have been using a temporary workaround that includes their TV settings. Making use of the noise reduction settings, (typically found under [Menu > Picture/Visual Settings]) you can change this from the default to a custom setting higher than the original.
-
Thx bro. I'm using a Samsung monitor under game mode and as such these changes you suggest are locked out. The issue is directly related to Bungies update. Pls pass along.
-
It.'s not the TV setting- it's bungie. Why bungie has to blame us for any of their screw-up's? Worked perfect before upgrade and still works perfect with any other game. Don't blame my TV - I own the latest and most advanced tv existing on the market today.

So we forked out 300£ plus bought the ttk at 25£ twice just to play a game we owned then pre paid a further 25£ for the roi. And this is it this is what we need to suffer for a dlc wow really I'm stunned. Wow

Yep!!! It's something like: "I shaved my balls for this?!!!!"
