Why Bungie.. You think we did not see this ninja nerf? You nerfed that It takes longer to activate! It took 3 secs for shoulder charge to activate. Before this patch and now It takes 5 sec! Wtf. I guess you made all the crybabies happy! Thanks Bungie!
For everyone I'm not pissed about the nerf. I'm pissed that they keep on ninja nerfing. We can see shit they do.

Edited by Shaddow: 9/18/2016 6:01:55 PMI main a Titan and I could really care less about nerfing shoulder charge, I'm sick of the Hunter and Warlock players crying about it when, if everyone was really honest about it, they would admit Titans need to be buffed overall. The other classes for example using Arc Blade or Stormtrance are almost unstoppable, grenades and shotguns hardly seem to touch them, yet when a Titan pops their Hammer of Sol they are as pretty well as weak as a kitten and can easily be taken out. I know originally they had to try to make the Hunters and Warlocks competitive against a heavy armoured class, such as the Titan, but it really makes no sense that a Titan's heavy metal armour is as strong (and in some cases actually weaker) than Hunter's leather outfits and Warlock's cloth dresses ( :P ). Explain that to me Bungie. By doing that they took away the obvious benefit of a heavy armour class and yet the other classes still kept the obvious benefits you would expect their classes to have. I suppose now its stand by and wait for the hate mail from players that main Hunters and Warlock (and I imagine a few Titan players who want to big note themselves and good they think they are).

1 ReplyThey did that, because of the new artifact taking away sprint lock. It would be completely out of hand if they didn't need it.
-
2 RepliesWarlocks still need more nerfing with stormcaller...some guy rant about 50+ kills with stormcaller.
-
2 RepliesGood people need to learn to actually use a gun

I guess you made all the crybabies happy!
Who's crying now???? 🤔🤔🤔

1 ReplySticky tripmines and throwing knices are perfect examples of great skill based skills that were used to counter shoulder charge... And they got nerfed. Its only fair that sc got taken down a notch too. It was practically inevitable. Not that i thought it was op, but it was one of the few long straws left to be pruned. When you have whittle down balancing, this is what you get. Eventually, combat will be generic with no class differences - like halo. Because bungie forgot this is a loot based shooter, not e-sport quality pvp. Rather than celebrating class and weapon differences, theyve taken a "nerf it all" approach. Until they think they are wrong, this will never change. That wont happen until their sales start to drop precipitously.

2 RepliesBecause that + memory of jolder would be game-breaking, according to bungie.

Edited by Unforgiven: 9/13/2016 1:43:57 AMLiterally the nerf is tiny. 1 Second longer to get Shoulder charge. Wow. And they already crying. Oh I forgot, you also can't keep your shoulder charge that long. Boohoo. Finally. Because Striker was too strong, with Titan skating and almost getting an instant shoulder charge. it is about damn time. Literally the best Crucible class got a slight nerf. Just deal with it.
-
6 RepliesShoulder Charge got nerfed? About -blam!-ing time. It was absolutely full of bullshit from vanilla.
-
5 RepliesBecause it's OP
-
1 ReplySC actually got nerfed? I don't know what to say but as long as it still packs that punch, should this activation time be a thing to complain about? The point is that it's still usable so as long as it is, this is just squabbling.
-
I'm glad they did. Titans just sc the whole pvp match. Where is their gun game at? Now some Titans got skills but ppl that only sc don't.

Nerf added 1 second to the shoulder charge start up. Plus a little less range and aa/ hit detection. It was to counter a play style that would be devastating. No sprint lock artifact is to blame.
-
1 ReplyEdited by CIKiller: 9/11/2016 3:23:45 PMCozmo confirmed that the nerf is only one second.
-
Apparently it got nerfed because of the new artifact coming in Rise of Iron that allows infinite sprint time. Sandbox team believes SC with MK Stand Asides plus that artifact is exclusively deadly.
-
8 Repliescosmo said something about one of the coming artifacts was going to make it op. (i think its the no sprint cooldown one)
-
yeah unlimited one hit melees shouldnt have an activate time
-
10 RepliesIt shouldn't be a one hit kill. I was in a match with a player where that's all they did was run around with shotgun and shoulder charge.
-
1 ReplyEdited by GoofTroopBudda: 9/10/2016 3:38:03 PMI think the main reason they added the nerf is bc the artifact that lets you run without a cooldown
-
I'm not mad that they nerfed it, but if they don't say anything about it in the notes and trying to be sneaky about it then that'd just a big -blam!- you for not telling us everything important bungie
-
2 RepliesWow...and they didnt nerf wombo combo...-blam!-ing pathetic
-
1 ReplyOmg!!! So it takes 2 sec longer!!! Shoulder charge should have a cool down!! I'm sick of Titans running around with a shotgun shoulder charging the whole match. I want to see them add a cool down to it like all the rest!!!
-
1 ReplyLmao tf are you crying about, we will still kick somebody in the face
-
I'm not bothered about the charge time, the auto aim has definitely been tampered with though.
-
9 RepliesEdited by Darth Lunchbox: 9/10/2016 5:14:48 PMReally, you're complaining about 2 seconds, you're lucky they didn't give it an actual cool down like everything else except sc. And you say you're not pissed about the nerf just the ninja nerfing, but it certainly doesn't read that way.
