I go on to destiny and the title screen comes up like normal and everything is working fine. When I press A to start the game and go to the character screen I get this msg saying how I lost my connection to the destiny character servers. I try again... Same result. I exit out of destiny and log back in... Same result. I restart my Xbox... Same result. I delete destiny and download it again... Same result. Just wanna fix this so I can continue kicking ass in the crucible

I'm having almost the same problem except after I hit a to play it just stays in the connecting screen and never does anything. It has been like this for a month now and Xbox can't help me.

23 RepliesHello, I'm sorry to hear that you're having connection issues. Sometimes these are intermittent and just happen once, or for a short period of time, due to network conditions between you, Bungie, and other players. Other times it can be related to your home network, other devices connected to your network, or the connection with your ISP. Take a look at our Network Troubleshooting Guide to learn how to get the optimal network setup for playing Destiny. Even when other games seem to be working fine we've found that Destiny may require a few tweaks to your network to get the best performance.

Hello! This issue happens every once in a while for everyone. Your best bet would be to reset your console, and if that doesn't work I would try and reset your router. Hope that helps :D

1 ReplyThat was happening to me this past Sunday for some reason. I would do a hard reset and it would fix it for a little while. I was getting kicked out of games every now and then too (seen about 5 different error codes pop up). It wasn't my internet - it was on Bungie's end.
