Cool story bro. So worth telling us

I need some opinions of deus ex. Someone tell me. Gameplay.
-
I'm playing deus ex but I have to admit the gameplay feels circa 2005. You can interact with the environment bit with only a handful of things (version boxes, trans cans, refrigerators). The noise you generate from movement is pretty inconsistent too. Anything I can pick up makes noise that still alerted guards but I can walk through rubble and broken glass with best silence. Need to sneak into a room but can't hack the keypad because they're too many guards around, why not smash a whole in the adjacent wall (nobody will heart that), or look for a vent shaft. The AI is almost as bad as MGS for PlayStation. I can shoot an enemy, alert nearby enemies, and take cover while they unload round after round until they just forget I'm there..rinse and repeat until no more baddies. I dig the story elements and interacting with characters but the gameplay ready hurts the immersion.

1 ReplyProbably a good thing you did. From what I've seen and read about that game makes me believe it's the biggest turd that ever got hyped. Now I hear of people who bought it saying that the dev lied about the game. Great! Now the devs are over hyping on top of lying about their product.
-
welcome brother, you made the right choice
-
1 ReplyI literally stopped playing one night, and from then on I have never got myself to play it again. Such a waste of $60. Awesome concept, but boring.
-
Same! But I intend to go back and play MMS as well. I enjoy both for different reasons (obviously)
-
No Man's Sky is trash so you made a good choice
-
I stopped working and took a dues
-
2 RepliesI stopped playing NMS the day after it released, might try it again when more updates are released since my request for a refund was denied. :(
-
2 RepliesI stopped playing NMS to play pretty much anything else. Just like I did for Destiny
-
4 RepliesExcellent choice but expect a bad ending from Deus Ex
-
And I stopped playing Deus Ex MD (after beating it) to play my older games I raged quit lol
-
1 ReplyBoth games are lame
-
I stopped playing nms when I got my refund
-
8 RepliesI've been thinking about picking up Deus Ex, would you recommend?
-
1 ReplyPpl still play that game?
-
1 ReplyWhat percentage of your non lethal takedowns have been uppercuts?
-
Yeah, I did the same. I'm currently trying to take down the final boss first (before spoilering the spoilers) but it seems I've encountered a game-breaking bug, because the dude is wondering around outside the room. His dot on the radar is beyond the walls, and when I use x-ray vision or what have you, he's just strolling around in... nothing. There is nothing physically where he is, just emptiness, and he's taking a stroll through it. Guess I'll have to reload an older save. :/

1 ReplyBest thing you could do, I immediately stopped playing NMS the moment I got the platinum cause that was the only motivation I had.
-
I played both. I found something truly incredible out .... it's possible to have more than one game on the go. Shocking, I know.
-
I've almost got the NMS platinum trophy. Once I have it, I'm done with the game for now until they add in updates/DLC. I've greatly enjoyed my time with the game (70-80 hours put in at least), but I'll have to wait for new features for me to get back into it.

5 RepliesEdited by Psychic Donuts: 9/5/2016 9:52:17 PMGood. You should have refunded No Man's Sky when you had the chance.
-
7 RepliesI like both for very different reasons. So what am I? A witch for liking two games?
-
I stopped playing nms to play not broken games
