This connection crap is out of hand.
I can't connect to fireteams, parties, raid groups, nothing. I get booted from the tower to orbit, and from the game completely randomly. I'm not getting error codes, it's just telling me I can't connect to fireteam, or something went wrong with your party. I just missed what may have been my last opportunity to get the Golgoroth challenge done for the MOT because I couldn't connect to the party and game.. This is absolute trash.

Also, if you want a genuine response from Bungie or the Mentors, using profane words or being openly upset about the issue will usually get you put in the back of their minds. Taking the time to spell everything out in a calm way is a solid way to increase your chances of getting official help. Until then, you're stuck with people like me.
