Became 335 today. Only took me 13 days. Guess what else?
I almost lost all my friends because i left to play another game for 7 months. i just came back awhile ago to catch up for the new dlc. ive been reading alot of post saying its impossible or to difficult to become 335. i say false. i had one friend to welcome me back. didnt help much but got some tips.
i had no raid group. i had no trials group. i had no challenge of elders group. i had no group at all. why 13 days to become 335. it could of taken me a lot shorter time to get there but i had a job that took 40 hours of my time a week. im still not sure if that is a good or bad thing but im 335 now.
Took a lot of vangard strikes and lfg web sites. what helped me alot was that before i quit i was an elitist. lol i know. so i came back knowing what to expect. Im back at max light level at now im looking forward to help any new guardians.
tldr: if your just coming back to destiny dont complain about getting to 335. Not that hard.

4 RepliesNot to rain on your parade but the changes that came with the April update made it the easiest to hit max light ever. I hit 335 on 2 characters the first week of the update and my third character on reset. I was a forever 29 until the week before Crota dropped so I've experienced actual grind, which it is not at the moment.
