Borderlands = 2 games filled with fun Fallout = 1 game filled with grindfests
-
Borderlands, Fallout 4 sucks.
-
Borderlands all the way. It's fun as -blam!-!
-
Handsome Collection, I'd say no to Fallout unless you have a good enough PC.
-
11 RepliesIt depends on your preferences. Enjoy random frame rate drops and bland gameplay? Get fallout 4. Enjoy smooth performance with fun and engaging gameplay? Get borderlands. Do you like an RPG that takes all of the worst possible aspects from a survival game? Fallout 4. Do you like a first person shooter that takes all the best possible aspects of an RPG? Borderlands.

1 ReplyThe Fallout games don't have a continuous story across them, so you don't need to play the previous ones. If you're going to get Fallout 4, I'd recommend waiting for a "Game of the Year" or "Legendary" edition to be released. Bethesda has released these for all their games, and they include all the DLC, so it saves you quite a bit of money.

Borderlands 2 for sure. If you enjoy destiny, you'll love borderlands. You might even start to hate destiny for how much better borderlands is in almost every way.

4 RepliesEdited by ATinyBushWookie: 9/5/2016 5:30:00 PMIf you like the grind of destiny, borderlands. If you like story with a long campaign fallout. Or get both lol. I'm sure they are both fairly cheap on eBay.

Heavens, CEO of StasisIt's so over. - old
Handsome Collection. It has content that lasts for years... -
side note: never got to play the other fallout games idk if I need to to understand the story for 4
If your looking for a good post apocalyptic co-op game, then Borderlands is the game for you. If your looking for a good open world single player game with tons of places to explore, then Fallout 4 would like to speak to you.

1 ReplyBorderlands. Fallout 4 is terrible.
-
I say spring for the handsome collection. Borderlands 2 alone is with the buy. And when you eventually start playing the pre sequel, huntress chick and the doppelgänger are excellent So much content and the loot you'd get in these games is amazing!!! Especially in BL2

Fallout 4. Story is a bit boring but running around murdering people never gets old

Fallout 4

3 RepliesI've tried Borderlands a couple of times and could never get into it. I've played a lot of the older Fallouts, New Vegas being my favorite, Fallout 4 is a huge disappointment compared to the older ones. Fallout 4 lacks a good story, which sucks. The side quests aren't that great and the base building is mediocre at best. Once you're done with the main story there isn't much to do but explore, which most the places you explore are forgettable and pretty bland. I'd recommend you save your money or buy an older Fallout game if you have a last generation console or a PC.

1 ReplyBorderlands. FO4 was kinda retarded to me. The older ones feel more better.
-
If you have at least 1 other person to play Borderlands with you get that. It's still good solo but so much better Co-Op
-
Borderlands is 2 games with all DLC. Fallout 4 is one game with no DLC. The choice seems obvious to me
-
Fallout 4.
-
Fallout 4 was my first fallout and I love it . I've had 6 characters too and I'm currently level 137 and play on ps4 so no mods. But I really enjoy it great fun. I also have the handsome collection too but had to delete it due to space and also skyrim comes out end of October so that's going to be epic. Boarderlands is much better with people I hated it on my own.

Borderlands

In my opinion, it's a no-contest. With THC, you get 12 playable vault hunters, 2 complete campaigns, 4 good dlc campaigns, 1 terrible dlc campaign (seriously, skip Hammerlocke's big game hunt. It is not worth your time), and lots of cool guns. With fallout 4, you get... a (imo) boring game.
-
Eventually you will get both, I hope, I would say Borderlands first just because they have online features, the sooner the easier to find other players (optional) and Fallout is single player only.
-
Borderlands easily.

Fallout 4 is set in the same universe/setting as the other titles but overall I felt let down by it. Too much focus on customization instead of exploration is what really got to me. Also couldn't get into the Borderlands series either, it simply did not peak my interests.
