Let's make raids and patrols more related

Sure, sounds like fun

This idea came while recently running heroic strikes. Remember when we first knew about raids? Remember that we had an emergence of enemies outside VoG? Then it released and we all partook of the nightly festivities that was Destiny's first raid day 1? Well why don't we revive that? Here's what I've got so far: RoI drops. RoI raid drops and first day of raiders manage to complete the raid? The next following day, we get a new public event. This one is based on raid encounters on a smaller scale though. Similar enemy mechanics, similar fight sequences, or maybe we get the first ever public event objective conquest like Oryx's jumping platforms and slamming a taken enemy on the ground except with RoI enemies? There's many ways to cut this down including: 1. Objective kills which becomes misdirection involving raid enemies as reinforcements. 2. Area lockdown (eliminate or collect all possible items) 3. Beasts unleashed (we see a boss's minion from the raid coming to get revenge on us, think Urzog the Hated) With the outcropping of Destiny, we might as well have some fun with the raid areas and know that enemies are coming out, but then to transfer those raid activities into patrol solely for letting players know Siva is still around and not out of options? I think that could be a lot of fun. What do you all think?
