Agree with your examples there are a few duds, but plenty that are pretty incredible too, fabian strategy, zen meteor, hereafter, dragons breath, ace of spades all need a solid fix/buff

Why does everyone hate on Ace of Spades? It is a fantastic weapon... It's like a super boosted Fatebringer. It make an awesome noise and its perk is both useful and functions regularly and often.
-
I think ace of spades would feel more exotic with rifled barrel instead of reinforced. It would go with the ace of spades perk too (slower reload on a gun you shouldn't have to reload much). This gun is awesome in pve though especially if you're using gunslingers trance
-
Things like barrel perks on exotics don't really bother me. I use Perfect Balance on it anyway - I prefer options with no downside.
-
It feels lacking to me, it's a good gun just not a great gun, and that's what exotics should be, great.
-
When you go on a 50 kill spree in PvE without reloading it feels pretty awesome
-
Yeah that's not exagerating at all...
-
I've ran it out of ammo without reloading in PvE before. It's not like hitting headshots is hard, and it kills most red bars with 1 shot. With judicious use of abilities and special weapons to weaken stronger enemies it's very easy to completely forget about reloading with Ace of Spades. Plus you aim it at something like a crowd of thrall and you're taking out 3 with a single shot...
-
Because Imago Loop is a thing. It can roll a Fatebringer roll. Plus it's a legendary and not a class exlclusive and doesn't take the exotic slot. I personally like the gun, but I'd rather use Red Death, Bad JuJu rather that Ace of Spades. Just my opinion though.
-
Everyone forgets that Ace has 3rd Eye. Plus no Imago Loop spins when you equip it ... or has quite as cool a sound. But I guess it doesn't feel great for everyone, I can respect that, I'm just surprised that the people who don't like it seem to treat disliking it as being as standard as disliking Fabian Strategy.

Dragons breath is amazing. I ask almost every person I meet and next to no one knows that you can bounce the dragons breath off of ceilings and walls. You can shoot the dragons breath AT THE WALL and RICHOCHET the rocket OFF THE WALL. NOBODY expects a rocket to do that. It's AMAZING in Pvp. Even if they react fast enough to dodge the rocket, the carpet bomb will still kill them.
-
It's got 1 in the tube, not good enough for an exotic imo
-
It's about what you do with it. The carpet bomb will provide a few seconds for your reload anyways. It's a good rocket for close quarters as you can shoot around corners. Let's say a super is way down range and in a building. Aim for the rocket to go in and bounce off the side. If you let go the rocket will drop. Kill people without jumping up high(and not getting sniped). Kill shotgun campers. Small building In between you and the enemy team. Shoot it, released trigger, boom. You shot a "grenade launcher". I'd say the ammo capacity shouldn't even be a point of interest
-
I disagree, while it has an interesting ability, doesn't mean other aspects can be ignored, it's a cool ability but compare it to truth, it's no contest. Give it two in the mag, that would suffice.
-
No. Ammo capacity doesn't matter. If any changes are made to it they should be in boosting the size of the area that it burns. It's doesn't require direct hits and it can kill big crowds easily... this totally compensates for the ammo count.
-
Ammo capacity is incredibly important, agree with the increased fire radius though
-
Ammo capacity isn't the difference between exotic and not exotic though. There is literally no other similar weapon to Dragon's Breath. It doesn't even copy a grenade ability anymore. It could have 3 rockets, it could have 1, it doesn't matter, it is still unique and the only thing that can do what it does. I think that your idea of an exotic is that it has no weaknesses.
