Still no word of Veteran's Tour quest, and how this is relevant to ROI upgrades

Context about my issues with Veteran's Tour follows. If you don't care, skip to the next bold text. Two of three requirements had to be met in order to get the Veteran's Tour quest: 1. Character had to be level 30 by 31st August 2015. 2. Player must have downloaded TDB and HoW by 31st August 2015. 3. Player must have downloaded and played TTK by 1st February 2016 (This criteria being mandatory). I met requirements 2 and 3, so I should've been given the quest. Some items appeared in the kiosks before the quest was obtainable, apparently getting the items from the kiosks prevented the quest from appearing for some people. I did not touch the items in the kiosks at all, so this wasn't an issue for me. Despite meeting the requirements and not touching the kiosks, I was not given the quest. I (as well as others) made several posts over the last year asking Bungie for help regarding the issue, but they never responded to any of them. In fact, the only time Bungie ever acknowledged this issue was during a post that September about misc bugs. They said that they were aware of the issue and working on it. Since then, they've said absolutely nothing. The deadline of Feburary 1st has long since passed, so the quest is no longer obtainable even if they fix the issue. If they were ever planning on addressing this, they should have done so a long time ago. In the previous post I made about this, one of the responses was that it no longer matters and that I should let it go. Well you know what? Screw that. We got screwed. The reason I'm mad isn't because I missed out, it's because Bungie promised something and didn't follow through. The fact that they've said literally nothing about this is infuriating, because it feels as though they're intentionally ignoring it so that eventually we'll forget about it too. All I've wanted for so long is for them to just acknowledge the issue, to stop pretending that it didn't happen. Anyways, that's my rant over. Now onto the real issue. Why I'm posting about it My last post about this issue was a week or two ago, so why am I posting about it again so soon? Well, because I see it happening again on a much grander scale. Bungie made a promise to players on the 360 and PS3 that they'd be able to buy the collector's upgrade on the XB1 and PS4 at a discounted price. So far, at least on the 360, tons of players are reporting not being able to make the purchase despite owning all dlc on the last gen console. So far, all the players are getting told when they call their console's respective support team is that they need to bring it up with Bungie, who has said absolutely nothing about the issue and is not responding to the posts complaining about it. What if it gets to release and nothing happens? All the 360 players who want ROI will have to buy the full collection, and those that can't afford it will be unable to play. Bungie trying to fix an issue like this after release will be 10x more difficult and could cause a slew of new problems, and they might use that as an excuse to either not do it or hold off on it for as long as possible. Also, refunds for those that were forced to buy the full collection are probably not going to happen, or they're at least going to be delayed by several weeks. Lastly, what about the pre-order bonuses? I'm sure there are 360 players that desperately want that black gjallarhorn, but if this doesn't get fixed before release and they can't afford the full collection, then they will miss their chance at getting it. Here's an analogy I came up with to explain just why this pisses me off, and why it should piss you off as well: A man wins a large sum of money in the lottery, he has 5 days to claim it or it's kept by the people running the lottery. He must go to their HQ in person to claim the money, but when he arrives there, the door is locked tight. There are clearly people inside, and a few of them can see him trying to get in, but none of them open the door for him. 5 days pass, and the man still can't get in. The lottery people get to keep the money, and it's somehow the man's fault because he didn't claim it in time. This is my advice for people who can't get the collection upgrade, despite owning TTK on last gen consoles, do not shut up about your issue. Make a post about it every day if you have to. Make Bungie listen to you, they have to fix this in the next 19 days or you'll all miss out. Then this'll be just another promise Bungie has failed to keep.
