In my opinion, Bungie needs to consider buffing all primaries across the board, with the exception of handcannons. Handcannons are fine. Although, Hawkmoon should be given rifled barrel. If not any more range, at least a stability increase.
Fusion rifles need more based range, and faster charge rates. Some fusions are really good, but overall they are above average at best. I've seen some pretty dirty fusion rifles, but they can't compare to shotguns.
Sidearms need more range, and don't really reflect their rate of fire. They also need increased hip fire accuracy.
Sniper rifles and shotguns are fine. Leave them alone. It's everything else being too weak that makes shotguns and sniper rifles look too good.
Pvp is WAY TOO CENTERED AROUND SECONDARY WEAPONS. I've been grinding Pvp extremely hard for a very, very long time. I'm retired, so I have the time.
Of course, many people will oppose this, and that's fine. Bungie has to cater to kids who can't get a kill with a primary to save their lives. I played four straight matches of this last Iron Banner where all I died to were shotguns. Any kid that tried to primary gun fight me got absolutely destroyed. I started looking up stats of players, and I can't believe how many players have more super kills or shotgun and sniper rifle kills than primary kills. That's absolutely crazy!
Primary skill is absent, and those that possess great primary skill are punished by shotgun warriors and hard scopers.
Bungie, we want our primaries back.

Edited by Krieger559: 8/31/2016 7:55:48 PMSpecials are too readily available in my opinion. Look at games like Halo and Gears of War. Usually you would have to fight for control over a sniper or rocket launcher, and even a shotgun sometimes. If someone had a power weapon, you kill them, they drop it, and now you have it. In this game, you kill them and respawn with it. Always. Maybe with less ammo but they still have it. To me this makes PvP in Destiny not fun and is the main reason I don't play it.
