Hi There! Many times the issue is on your end and not Bungies who run this game using a P2P server. If your using a Wi-Fi connection I recommend switching to a Wired Ethernet connection. Also try resetting your Console Cache as that may help a lot! I will also leave the Troubleshoot guide so you can refer to there for more help.

I have a wired connection, and I kept getting booted out off of destiny multiple times today to where i just gave up on playing.

Have you cleared your cache? If you have and are still receiving errors then refer to the Troubleshooting guide :)
