It's okay, Playstation users will just tell you it's fair and you'll have to wait until the life cycle of Destiny 1 for the content.
Because logic.
Because principles.

You do realize that fall of 2016 was the original projected end of Destiny 1's life cycle, right?
-
Yes. And 2017 is now it.
-
Which is why the exclusives were pushed back.
-
There is no word as to why they were pushed back. But for Xbox users to have to wait until the death of Destiny 1 for exclusives is laughable
-
To be fair, we expected Destiny 2 to release when ROI will, so we already expecting to get TTK exclusives at the "death" of Destiny anyway. There's no official word on the pushback, but its obvious from context clues. The ps site said "at least 2016", & the year 1 exclusives were released at the launch of TTK. The leaked Activision contract projected destiny projects to release in a title year & tiger expansion (TTK) year format. From that information, we can summize that the exclusives last until the next title or tiger project is released. Since Destiny 2 was originally going to release in fall of 2016, Sony's website put that time frame in the fine print of their site.
-
Well, along with that, there is also the principle of waiting 2 years for exclusives, which is just hilarious.
-
I don't really think of it as waiting. I just consider it a nice bonus further down the line. If Sony paid for it, then that means I get it for free, so idc if I ever get it. I think complaining about them is hilarious though. Reminds me of spoiled kids at Christmas.
-
There is a difference between complaining and questioning. Why must people wait 2 years for content exclusives? Other games don't do this, and it shows that if one game can do it and get away with it, then others just as easily could.
-
Agreed, but most of the people making threads about it are complaining. They might complain in the form of a question, but they're still complaining. Also, most exclusives are actually exclusive, meaning other players never get to enjoy them, so I couldn't care less if other companies extend their exclusivity windows. They don't make exclusives for free, & I'm not willing to match console companies' offers for them.
-
Getting the content at the end of Destiny 1's life cycle makes that content and the whole game outdated and irrelevant. There'll be no point in grinding for it.
-
Exactly. And with Destiny 2 with a confirmed release date in 2017, what do you think will happen?
-
Of course we'll get the content when Destiny 2 is released, but the content will be irrelevant. Then, there'll be more PS exclusive content in Destiny 2 that we won't get for a freaking year.
-
Exactly. Someone needs to make a change.org petition
-
I guess I can make one.
-
I'd sign it and advertise it.
