It's harder to salvage than to disable.

This works if you see them coming. Most relics to salvage have multiple openings. You're basically just a target capturing the relic.

Capturing and defending the relic is the point of the game mode, and much more satisfying than a disable. Harder the path of the capture is.

Because the point system is -blam!-ed. Don't ever capture the relic. That's quite possibly the stupidest comment I've ever read.

If the enemy capture the relic don't that make it kind of like an enemy base? Isn't assaulting an enemy base not cowardly? And really, you went yoda? Isn't that way to played out at this point. And the goal is to win. You should take all measures to meet that goal. It's not our fault bungie devised a broken game type.

I play how I want, and win how I want. It's a preference that's totally valid, just like yours. Calling it stupid is what started this dialogue between you and I. Don't get it twisted jitterbug.
