On a side note is their an me collection I could buy on next gen and/or are they backwards compatible

I broke all of my original disks just from pure usage, I play these game to much, and so I had to buy new ones. I bought a triple pack at Walmart. I would check online for it now though because it was a long time ago. Mass Effect is backwards compatible. Mass Effect 2 and 3 however, are not. But last time I checked on Microsoft's official poll on what games we want next for backwards compatibility, both 2 and 3 were in the top 10. Edit: There's speculation that Bioware is going to remaster all 3 games for Xbox 1 and PS4. Just to let you know.

No problem. I really hope you enjoy it. It's my favorite game/series. I absolutely love it and the story. Some advice, level up your Charm stat as much as possible, as quickly as possible in the first game. You'll need it once you get to Virmire.
