Flashbangs are not the best PvP grenades because they don't stick on impact, so they're easy to miss. That said, they can be one of the absolute best PvE grenades. I used to solo 3 nightfalls a week year one and flashbangs easily made the striker the easiest run in most situations, particularly vs heavily shielded captains, etc. Also, smoke really isn't the hunter grenade, it's a secondary bonus ability like shoulder charge and as such they're actually very balanced vs each other in PvP.

5 RepliesFirst off they're not op. Secondly hunters are supposed to have more killing power as they have the lowest armor! Hunters are forced to use smoke in conjunction with their grenade because neither can kill alone. [spoiler] smokes are op but a melee that has almost no cool down isn't...smh[/spoiler]

4 RepliesHunters have been nerfed 13 times. Titans 8. Warlocks 10. Don't you think that it's ridiculous to continuously nerf hunters every time you get killed by one? Why not nerf shoulder charge from killing people in mid air, when the titan is still on the ground when hunters at the peak of a triple jump or warlock blink gets killed?

4 RepliesSmoke melee stopped me mid ionic blink while in stormtrance. I then got sniped a moment later before I could get out of the smoke. That's a little nuts for a melee.

That's because flashes in this game don't work how any other game would do them. It's all based on doing damage, if you aren't doing damage you aren't flashing them either. If anything isn't effective in this situation it's the player.

Plus the rest of the subclass. It's balanced. They are meant to blind not damage and movement speed is so fast blind can't last that long. Maybe a little longer blind but not much if anything

This is why I'm making a hunter and will main it for Crucible, a Titan for raids, and a warlock for the story missions.

They need to reduce the size of the explosion and the AoE. It's redo culturally easy to use them and they are allowed to be used at insane ranges.
