The most retarded quote a person could say. How is the weapon toxic it was the community not the weapon.
-
Edited by Kone19ps: 8/29/2016 10:48:05 PMBroaden your vocabulary. If it was rare the design would be. That's not the case so the primary problem is that it trivializes encounters. It happened all year one. Op weapons should be kept as relics like the sword. Aegis, and scorch cannon and just have more. Especially in patrol all events should come back.
-
People are toxic. Not a gun... People STILL have requirements for KF. It's always going to happen. Nerfing a gun because of how people acted is ignorant as fućk. People are going to have requirements. Whether it's light, certain subclasses, certain weapons. You can't get away from that my guy.
-
Real easy solition. Make all guns and gear available to everyone. Simple. Sure it takes away the awful RNG aspect of this shit game. But it would remove this particular issue entirely. Then we the community could finally get our favorite guns back as valid options to play with. This games basic design is so flawed it's retarded. Especially when Bungie keeps "balancing" everything and just breaks it even more every time lol.
-
Do you not understand that ghorn is going to have quest line available to everyone....the problem is being solved.
-
Guess you didn't read my original post either as just because their bringing it back and making it available to everyone (without effective wolf pack rounds mind you) doesn't take away the original offense of removing it to begin with. You must be a Democrat to be this dense.
-
Okay, I get that. It doesn't need to be removed. The gun was never the issue, it was the community. However, one of you complaints is to make things more available to everyone, I simply stated that's happening.
-
Right, I get that, but I am referring to this shit should have happened in y1 lol.
-
... for Ghorn yes. But they still keep alot of y1 guns (VoG, CE) out of the pool of valid weaponry for supposedly similar reasons "they were all just too powerful"... what a load of bullshit.
-
Edited by Kone19ps: 8/29/2016 11:44:48 PMKings fall is no where near as bad and the weapons required no longer require luck. The others are attainable as well. Ghorn was pure luck. Now it being op is just be toxic to the health of pve Op weapons should remain as relics and just be more diverse and available. For a long time I've said swords, aegis, and scorch cannons should be around at least in patrols more
-
We need more op PvE weapons. They make the experience more enjoyable. If you enjoy shooting bullet sponges with a shitty year 2 primary then don't use heavy weapons.
-
I agree in the form of relics not personal weapons
-
Golg and priest are both purely dps with no other mechanics other than clearing Ads between dps. How can you even say it's not nearly as bad ?! Ghorn is about to be available to everyone via a quest line. Just like ToM and Spindle. You think something is op in pve ? You're wrong. That's called poor boss mechanics.
-
Golg and priest are both purely dps with no other mechanics other than clearing Ads between dps. How can you even say it's not nearly as bad ?!
People requirements to get in aren't as bad because that criteria is more attainable.
Ghorn is about to be available to everyone via a quest line. Just like ToM and Spindle. You think something is op in pve ? You're wrong. That's called poor boss mechanics.
It's op because it just bluntly out damaged anything else in the game by a wide margin. Meaning you would have to have bosses with damage Windows shorter than a full rocket mag to balance that. That's dumb and limits boss design. Keep it in line with everything else and expand relics for op weapons.
-
Criteria more obtainable ? Did you not read that I said ghorn is going to be obtainable to everyone via a quest line ? That argument you keep making is completely pointless. Lowering boss health ? NO. Simply come up with mechanics that aren't garbage. Take the Oryx engagement for example. Ghorn has no place there other than maybe take down ogres or Knights and that's it. Make bosses have more complicated mechanics like that and you won't have to worry about something becoming, "overpowered" in situations like that. I cannot stand that some people think shit is over powered in pve. I can't get my head around that completely ridiculous logic.
Criteria more obtainable ? Did you not read that I said ghorn is going to be obtainable to everyone via a quest line ? That argument you keep making is completely pointless.
Yes I did and I've said at least twice in this thread that the problem in rise of iron would be pve where it trivializes encounters rather than a community hurtle.
Lowering boss health ? NO. Simply come up with mechanics that aren't garbage. Take the Oryx engagement for example. Ghorn has no place there other than maybe take down ogres or Knights and that's it.
I didn't say lowering boss health. I said narrowing damage Windows. And that would be the only balance solution to massive dps.
Make bosses have more complicated mechanics like that and you won't have to worry about something becoming, "overpowered" in situations like that. I cannot stand that some people think shit is over powered in pve. I can't get my head around that completely ridiculous logic.
I want more complex mechanics but you suggest none. Bungie couldn't think of one besides the relic system so they nerfed ghorn. And dude do your research. There are whole papers on how overpowered game design leads to majority boredom and quicker population loss. People get bored destroying everything but can't self regulate to accept the consequences of their own choices. So bungie made it for them. There are op things like relics to make the game fun with OP things and hopefully more modifiers if destiny 2 has a more robust engine. That's why I want more relics.

How.......?
-
Edited by Kone19ps: 8/29/2016 9:17:25 PMIt was so strong and so dependent on rng it created a have and have nots that made lfg and recruitment completely toxic. People wouldn't take you without it and since it was random next to nothing you could do about it making it even harder to get in the first place. It also trivialized every encounter which is toxic in the long term to pve
-
The thing is, everyone is gonna get ghorn now, so why not buff it back?
-
It would still trivialize encounters then.
-
It would be nothing like y1. Smh.
-
Edited by Kone19ps: 8/29/2016 11:00:20 PMIf it's made OP yes it would be that was the issue to begin with
-
Op for PVE? Are ya joking? People want all the weapons to be OP for PVE..... IMO most weapons need a major PVE buff!
-
Year one proved that wasn't healthy for the game because like I said it trivializes encounters. OP weapons should be relics and just expand them more than hive swords, aegis, scorch cannon, and the rise of iron axe. Did ttk even have one?
-
I dont think it would trivialize anything. Many people still are going to play this game and 1 rocket launcher wont break the game, Even more so now then before because it is going to have less ammo.
