I have 200 marks now. I have enough exotic shards. I have all the exotics and all my characters are at 335. What would be the point in decoding now? There's an off chance that those exotics might drop at a higher light level, even if they're TTK exotics. There's a guarantee that I'll level up the Cryptarch. From those packages, I could get a few free (and new) legendaries or exotics. For me, saving engrams is the best thing right now. There's literally no other use or need for them at this point. I may as well save them. The bigger question here is why are you getting so worked up over what someone else does on their account? What's your vested interest?
