The ancient greek mythology medussa was reffered as a Gorgon, and had the same move called the gorgons gaze, that could petrify targets forever. It looks the same and the cruicible map Pantheon is reffering to the Pantheon in greek mythology, on top of olympus, where the twelve gods lived.
