I agree sort it like this Kd: .0-.49=can't play .5-.99=group 1 1-1.49=group 2 1.5-1.99=group 3 2 and above =group 4 The teams kds will be averaged to find what group the team is put in

    yeah godd idea but not with the k/d as an example i've begun destiny with my hunter and i wasn't good at the crucible during a moment...now my k.d is around 1.4 because i'm pretty good actually...but this is hard to up my k/d after so many bad games with elo maybe, or with the number of flawless done (last time just being crushed by a team with almost 80 flawless done since the launch....so....rip my team)

  • I agree that different groups should be added, but not by using KD. When top tier players start playing against each other their KD will drop. Putting them into lower brackets. Top tier players love it the way it is. Easy mode for them. So they will do anything they can to keep different groups out of trials.

    Okay, a 1 to 1,49 would leave many with easy flawlesses. Kd doesn't mean shit unless it's the difference between 1 and .3

    Personally I can't support a "can't play" and like the other guy said it can be abused and isn't very representative. The thing is I think they make it passage progress for a reason rather than sbmm. Connection is otherwise prioritized so maybe sbmm is too unstable to be used. But it's frustrating as hell. Year one was worse by the end of HOW but it's close to that bad now as well. Other than connection I haven't seen another reason and the current sbmm matching criteria isn't know just guessed at so I don't think too many people would grief trials by tanking their stats

  • The problem is this might encourage people to purposely drop kd to pray on noobs, and also kd isn't the most accurate way to determine player skill, but this actually would be really great. I could actually go flawless :P

  • I was thinking of that and thought that maybe if your kd dropped a certain amount within an hour(or whatever time) it would go back to what it was and hour ago(or whatever time ago)

  • I have a low kd overall in both trials and reg crucible because of year one. I still manage to easily go 9-0 with the same friends every week. So In my opinion that wouldn't be fair to kids that actually arnt that skilled.
