Let's face it. Warlocks got screwed with there jump. It's slow, and and you get barely any upward movement. I've watched my dad play, who's a warlock, and he's lost countless missions because he couldn't either jump to safety, or on Caydes stash, he could barely beat that because it requires you to do lots of climbing

I'm actually totally fine with the glide. If used right you get more distance than a hunter (without bones of Eao) it's just difficult to control.
-
2 RepliesI like the jump, actually. I think it is the best jump for running the relic in KF, mainly because I can cancel it, unlike some.
-
Ikr it's increased initial speed or nothing. Technically it's the same for titans considering only increased control is good... I actually don't know what the other one is besides increased height but increased control is actually really fricken good. Warlocks increased initial speed may be the best jump for them but it's still slower than my severely arthritic grandma.

I've killed myself more times than I'd like to admit with the warlock jump. The only good thing about it is covering a large distance.

I can move as fast as Titan... #Tamponmasterrace

3 RepliesHonestly, Hunters have the worst jump

Press jump twice quickly, like teabagging. Pretty -blam!-ing simple.

Edited by AdligerAdler: 8/27/2016 9:15:23 PMUsually it's the people who suck at using it properly who say it sucks. I main a Warlock since my first day and I have no problems with the jump. I learned how to master it (it's not even hard) and it's the best jump in the game in my opinion. And I have all 3 classes, I can compare it to the other jumps.

1 ReplyWarlock jump isn't as bad as people make out, it's just people don't know how to use it properly.
-
I did that raid on my warlock. I find I can control the jumps quite well I had no problems on Cayde's stash. I did that a load of times on my warlock If you dad has problems running warlock, then it's probably not his main and he is used to the jumps on the hunter or Titan As far as I'm concerned, the hunter jump sucks. If you're not wearing Bones then you should use the stairs or disabled ramp (especially on a Bladedancer)

There had to be one subclass that people think have bad jumps.

14 RepliesI love it when I always beat titans and hunters in the jumping parts in raids.

Lol. You're dad should stick with his hunter. The jump is fine, I have no problems with platforming in the game.
-
Note that the warlock jump is called Glide. How does one Glide? You first gain momentum, then jump. You can then trigger, from my experience, a perfect glide. That is how I use it. Yes, slow. But that doesn't mean it is completely bad. It's playstyle dependent, just like the other jump abilities.
-
Just use Focused Burst. The jump still isn't great, but I personally believe it's better than the other two for almost any situation.

Lol so wrong -
This is very true

It all depends on play style
It's slow
It's slow. Wut
-
The focused burst is amazing and is what you need to lock-skate
-
You can skate like Titan, It's not as fast as Titan tho, but faster than you think, if warlock jump is so bad then nobody would use it in sweaty.
-
All the Warlock jump is is a modified Titan jump ability. But yeah, it is rather difficult to get vertical movement. I do find it better for horizontal movements.
