I know something that could change this game!
What if the archetype of weapons was random. Think about it. It would completely change the way people play this game and add mor customization to weapons, making two weapons of the same name different.
Example would be the last extremity. I get it as a drop in the nightfall and it is a low rate of fire-high impact scout rifle. My friend gets the last extremity also. Only this time, his is a mid rate of fire-mid impact scout rifle. Combine that with different perks, and I can have a weapon that is used by many other people but it would be completely different.
Just think of all the possiblities. I know there are going to be ornaments in RoI, but would you rather use a gun that appeals to you in feel but also appeal to you with its appearance. It's like the trials scout. It feels so good but it is just so darn ugly.
Edit: I forgot to add that this concept will only apply to vendor weapons. The weapons from trials, raids, or possibl Iron Banner won't be effected.

3 RepliesWell, that would just make it even less likely for players to get what they want. For example, what if someone went through the trouble of getting a Doctrine of Passing, only to have it drop as a version that's in the low ROF archetype like SUROS Regime? The whole point of getting DOP is the fact that it's the best max ROF auto rifle you can get.
