Say Goodbye To This Bunny, After 35 Days PvP i Quit
Today i have decided to quit Destiny, untill the new DLC. A half year ago i have achieved everything i wanted in PvE. Before i have played CoD, Halo's and Battelfield for 12 years almost every day and only in Destiny the most unbelievable stuff is happening. Almost every match there is latency lag, so i don't stand a chance in any gunfight.
I have totally played Destiny's PvP for 35 days! and this week i even couldn't get Top Overall Score with my Titan in Iron Banner. With this bull***t i have reached the apex of Destiny's PvP, which is totally broken. One red bar players dominate the game. Trials of Osiris is also mostly fake and players take no damage, while i'm pumping them full with bullets. And those players have high stats. Yeah, right. There are probably only a couple of thousand players in the world, which can mostly play normally. I envy them, but it's not fair for the rest of us, skilled players with the best armor and weapons in the game.
The rest of the world is just too addicted or stupid (or hoping for that normal match) to quit Destiny's PvP.
Goodbye untill the next DLC...
P.S. I put my 400 Euro Gaming Monitor (1ms/ 144Hz), which doesn't work in Destiny's PvP in the CLOSET!

Just came from a full green bar match where the green bars on the other team were everything but green bar. Their supers didnt make a sound, assists didnt show for a good ten seconds, no hit registration on some of them (I literally sniped one guy 4 times as he was floating around in the air on his titan), you're dead before they have popped around corners and when I tried to BD I was killed even before I could see the enemy. It almost feels like we're back to the old halo stand-by'ing days (which was, unlike in Destiny, cheating and not a "feature") This game is so bad that I actually take breaks to speedtest my own connection from time to time, thinking it might be me. It never is, I'm always getting almost 100 % of my 100/100 connection. Granted that the xbox, for one or another reason, can't take full advantage of that (it usually caps on 80/50) but it still suggests that I am not the problem here. And as others have said about score, you have to forget everything you've learned in traditional - and superior FPS's - and just be willing to trade. The scoring system in this game is so flawed that the guy going 15-16 often gets more points than the guy going 15-2. It makes no sense - but what does in this game? Personally I would never touch PvP in this game if it wasnt for some of the rewards.

5 RepliesYou must have a bad connection then. I experienced only one game during the entirety of IB with what I would consider game breaking lag. Seems like the new MM settings are working.

The way to get top overall score is to just go in guns a blazin'. It didn't say "top overall k/d"...it says "top overall score." The PvP in this game (probably the same in others) is best played by just high-flying..going all out...it seems that there is less focus on precision and more on shots taken.

2 RepliesI'm not a regular PvP player (you can check stats, never deleted a char), and I usually have the top player rank within my 5 first matches. Once the 13 matches completed from the bounty, all others are done and hit rank 5. So it is not that hard. And I'm not addicted nor stupid ^^ Besides that: why the need to inform us you quit until the DLC? Are you some kind of celebrity?

1 ReplyIt is an absolute disgrace that destiny isn't running smoothly after the time it has been out. I totally agree with you. I played some titanfall 2 over the weekend and the connection experience was really good. That was a pre alpha test. It's amazing what dedicated servers can do.
