1 ReplyEdited by Stea1th Vixen: 8/22/2016 12:49:10 AMI appreciate the mature feedback. :) If this is a contract issue, Bungie should communicate with the community and say "sorry we planned on releasing xyz exotics but because.... etc etc." BUT instead they did the typical, discretely change things, HOPING no one notices and later on hint to "read the fine print". BAD communication & ethics here. And yes, said exotics extending out til 2017 is WORTHLESS in Destiny 2. This is worse than the fiasco of "Throwing money at the screen" I hope they can learn to communicate better in the future. Because their current track record is costing them players

He over speculates and can generally act like a 12 year old throwing a hissy fit. The case of vault space lately displayed that. I would hazard a guess the exclusivity for the Playstation was put down in terms of the original release shedule. The Y2 equipment will be exclusive until Destiny 2 is released, as Bungie screwed up and decided to take longer to make the game that has made the exclusivity last longer. Bungie knew this was the situation but they made the decision not to tell anyone, Bungie keeping true to form with their lack of communication to their community. Personally I feel if XB1 is not going to get the exotics then remove the slots from the kiosk as we can't get the guns. If Destiny 2 is a brand new game, no expansion, then all the exclusives are pretty much pointless.

Because MS didn't pay for an exclusivity contract, Sony did. I literally explained it in one sentence so you guys don't have to give this guy views.

His most important and critical part to his argument is that Xbox players won't be able to get these items till Destiny 2 comes out which is rather trite given that Destiny 2 was originally supposed to launch Fall of 2016. Furthermore he was reaching in his attempt to claim based on the "pattern" from year one. Given the original box says "Timed exclusive until at least Fall 2015", and The Taken King says almost the same thing save one small difference and that is "2016".
