Elite Ultras on halo:CE
I just finished Halo:CE campain. And there were a lot living of silver ultra elites there. But I had heard on halopedia that there were only dead ultras on halo:CE. Does this make sence to you guys?

And since it's out there, how does Chief use the boxlettes that contain a power up ? Spartan armor is a riff on Elite armor... (I don't read the books. Have written 3 of my own. Yes, I'm that sad.)

OP is confusing the Spec Ops Elites. They have black shiny armour, but in the right light, can look whitish. There are several dead Elites with white armour. The majority of these are either at weapon caches, or have a power-up near them.

And now I'm totally cornfused. I thought the spec ops in CE were in ceremonial black armor, and very difficult to kill. But the "ultra" in 2 was a gold-ish guy (on the Scarab; not a zealot.) But intuition told me the silver ("regular" spec ops by my understanding - the grenade stick on head no die guy in the bay) might also be an ultra. Is it just lighting or what ? And I never noticed anything on CE that looked like the silver armor of the sword wielders in 2.

I believe OP had mistakenly confused Spec Ops elites with Ultra elites. In fact, I myself was once confused when I played on the level, Keyes, when I encountered two elites in silverish armor, along with many grunts in the final hangar. Anyway, after killing the elites, whether I was confused by the lighting, or a glitch, upon further investigation, those two elites were actually Spec Ops elites. Anyway, for a random thought, besides the level Keyes, where you find alot of dead Ultra elite bodies everywhere on the ship, dead Ultras tend to have a active camo, or an overshield power up next to them. Were Ultra elites supposed to be tough, badass elites that were cut, due to being to strong/difficult to kill? Or were they just another elite skin, that Bungie merely used for already dead elites?
