How do I stop using Mida? Update- I've deleted it.
I've tried but it's just so smooth to use. Has anyone got any suggestions to an alternative? I've tried most scout rifles but they just don't come close.
So I deleted it and am going to try hand of judgement for a while. Thanks for all the comments. Even the ones calling me a retard.

Only time I'll bust mine out is when if its shores of time, cathedral of dusk, or pantheon where snipers go to their overused sniper nests. Chucking a nade in them for a potential first blood goes well for using the mida speed boost. Unless it's widows court. Covelance duty will get it's work put in. I want to kill the snipers quickly by having them panic with the shield loss feom covelance precision hits and have them hide be hind peeking cover. Then proceed with grenade toss in the hole. Until i see less snipers used by every single person on the other team, i see no reason to drop mida. -blam!- what these other guys say really. All six using snipers slows the entire match down to paint drying speed.

Regrettable, but I remember deleting my Felwinter's Lie when it became overused. Sometimes Cold-Turkey is the only way.

5 RepliesShadow 701, Inwards Lamp, Grasp, Hawksaw, and DIS 41( maybe 47) are all easy to transition to from mida.

The Suros DIS-47 is a good transition from a MIDA in my opinion. 5 head shots to kill but it fires faster so I don't even care.

2 RepliesThere is none to really match it. First of all speed who doesn't need that. Any problem comes up you take a hit get the F out of there and god help any one trying to chase you. Also of course first guy to the sweet spot. Next four shot kill but faster than the other four shot killers. Next highest aim assist.... Next and likely these days highest in value the magazine. You just keep spamming the trigger. Two guys three guys what ever just keep spamming that damn trigger. if by chance you happen to run out of ammo who cares it will be reloaded in 0.00001 seconds and spamming those rounds again. Just driving the other team mad from the sound of it is an advantage. That all being said I generally only use it on my hunter as the additional speed for a hunter is just nice again that getting the hell out of Dodge thing when you are hit. Good luck. I have the Iron Banner high impact scout from a while back and it is a quick killer as well. You will likely be back at that kiosk soon though. Just hold on to that exotic shard you will need it.

1 ReplyNL Shadow is really close in a few ways. The one on my warlock has 3rd eye and feels like a legendary version of Mida. Tlaloc is solid as well as a Mida replacement

2 RepliesI have dismantled all the Midas I have gotten, in top of the fact that if I have 10 kills with it in my whole account its a lot. Its the perfect scout, along with 4 shot kill, meaning you can kill 5 people without reload, and to top it off it has max aim assist. There is no gun in the game that can curve bullets and shoot you behind a wall after you took cover except Mida. Please dont tell me its lag, when Im clearly saying Mida its the only gun that can do that on a match with good connection. To summarise, its a gun that even someone with no thumbs can get and do good with.

You're not going to find a better Scout to compete with it. Everything else fires to slow or either too fast and you lose all of the above perks/stats. In my opinion, I don't think you should stop using a weapon just because the community bitches about it. If you're really trying to find a better Scout, you aren't going to. People might try to argue that Cocytus or Hung Jury, or even Last Extremity are better, but they just aren't. Edit: The ONLY rifle that will probably [u]EVER[/u] compete with Mida Multi-Tool is [b][i]Vision of Confluence.[/i][/b]

If snipers are present, the mida is coming out to play. Simple as that! If your good with it, stick with it bub...screw the crybabies, they are gonna bitch no matter what you kill them with.

2 RepliesIn RoI, there will be a scout rifle of the same archetype as mida if it stays the same as the shown test build. Wait for that gun, then make sure you get it with high stability, a carrot sight (I think that is what mida's sight is called), and high caliber rounds. With any luck, it should feel similar, just with a bit less aim assist and no agility since it is legendary. This should free up your exotic slot so you can use an exotic secondary, not to mention you will get high caliber rounds back so you can counter snipers.

1 ReplyPlay the year one prison of elders until you get a High Road Soldier. Its stats are similar to Mida, and you can reforge it until you have the perfect roll.

5 RepliesTlaloc. Pre super charge is just like hung jury. After it's faster than MIDA or at least it feels faster. I absolutely love my Tlaloc... in 6v6 game modes....

I'm a big fan of the hand of judgement. Try it out for sure. Going from MIDA you may think t takes a year and a half between shots BUT it has pretty decent target acquisition on it. If you're solid with your head shots you can wreak with it. Just like you can with jade rabbit, but you'll be able to save the exotic for special or heavy slot.
