Permanent ban for cheaters is what needs to happen. There should be no second chances. Kick red-bar players to their own matchmaking list that has only other red-bar players. This is the only way Crucible will improve unless Bungie gets dedicated servers. Side-note: If Destiny 2 does not have dedicated servers, I will not buy it. I have had enough of this connection based shit.

Regional mm would solve most lag problems. European/usa/asian gamers should never be in the same lobby. As for code manipulaters & flooders etc? They should be perma banned.

I was ninja' for complaining about controller mods and can no longer reply on that topic. My response is below: I thought that supporting you and bringing attention to this cheat would cause bungie to take action and put a stop to this. I thought that bungie would step up and take notice that cheating exists and ruins everyone's gameplay experience. Instead, bungie is more interested in silencing the community members who call attention to cheating while failing to hold cheaters responsible. People have been lag switching for almost two years now with almost full impunity. Despite that, bungie created the toxic shithole that is trials, with more rampant lag switching, DDoSers, and people charging for carries. Now a lesser known cheat becomes more popular and I try to use evidence to shut down all the "you're just lagging" apologists. My comments get met with ninja justice for bringing up a device that people say is licensed and legitimate and is even used by many streamers. I mention what people are using to cheat in the forums and I'm met with ninja justice. People use the device...the continue to dominate without consequence. If it was a legitimate device, my comments would not have been censored. Bungie, fix your backwards shit. End the name and shame rule, stop penalizing honest community members for calling attention to cheaters and spend half of that effort trying to stop cheaters. Learn from Blizzard, Niantic, and Valve and change your regressive ways. The community has long been unhappy about bungie empowering cheaters and attacking the community.

I am 60 years old and started gaming before many of you were even born. Started with dial-up, went to an ISDN dual channel line before the invention of DSL. Back then you were not allowed to join an online game if your "ping" (the time it takes a data package to travel to the destination server and back) was not low enough. It was done to keep the game from lagging. A simple programming script was sufficient to do that. It's been three decades, so Bungie, don't tell us that you can not do that, that it is not technically possible. You are using code that actually "rewards" the laggers. I have many friends that no longer play crucible, and very seldom show up to play same old PvE. I suck at PvP, my reaction time is a lot slower than what it used to be. But I play with many friends that had been at the lighthouse and seen them getting toasted by people that intentionally cause their internet to slow down at intervals (lag switch.) They do this by changing the settings on their routers, reducing the bandwith allocation to their PS4, or by loading a few netflicks, youtube videos at once or even using electronic devices that you can build yourself. Is 2016, unless you have dial-up, there is not excuse not to have a green bar. I am tired of shooting ghosts, frame skippers players, shooting at someone who is no longer there but can still see you on their screen and kill you. Enough.

With so many people false reporting in destiny for cheating/hacking it's hard for bungee to find the actual cheaters and hackers i bet. I can't tell you how many times I've been reported for cheating and/or hacking because I was doing better than someone on the opposite team

If bungie acted like blizzard, this game would triple in performance and in popularity. But bungie doesnt care, they want money and the cheaters are willing to pay anything to play/cheat. If your sick of cheating on destiny, either just deal with it or quit. Im not being a dick brother, dont misunderstand me. Its just bungie DOESNT GIVE TWO -blam!-S about the cheaters in destiny.

You red bars think you're innocuous but you have driven so many people from enjoying this game which means they eventually quit and don't come back. It is anecdotal but I have dozens of friends that will never come back to this game because of red bars. Ban those 1-2 red bars and keep the 10++ customers per every red bar. Makes you more money than letting those handful of red bar that ruin everyone's gaming experience.

People with controllers mods should have their consoles banned permanently. Not just the account.

No one can manipulate the code, nothing is stored on your console.

I recently had a match where one of my opponents was literaly lagging into the wall. He was next to impossible to kill after five swipes with arc blade he finally died. However that was just one round we ultimately lost he then T bagged lagging all the way threw. I sent him a message to let him know me and my team reported him for bad connection. His reply was this new defense of oh well my latency and ping he really thought he was educating as if perhaps I was 12 and not been around the Internet since before he was born. Ping and pong play a serious part in things yes this is of course true. Now he went on to say when I play with my American friends this is what happens showing he knew exactly what happens and uses it to his advantage he then went on to say their broken system is not my problem. Should he be banned? Yes yes he should. There is simply no changing my mind. Dress it up however you like it's not winning an honest match.
