Let Legacy Consoles have full access to Companion App
Dear Bungie,
Not allowing Xbox 360 and PS3 users not have access to their characters from the Companion app is a bit ridiculous. You've always said you cared about your consumers and what they want. We want you to have equal respect for all your Destiny players no matter if they have an Xbox One or Xbox 360, PS4 or PS3.

2 RepliesI've figured out why they don't allow it. With the separation between current gen and last gen, they have different progression now. With the app, it seems that you could potentially transfer a Rise of Iron gun onto a legacy console if you own both. Previously, if you transferred a shotgun from a Titan to a Warlock (as an example), it would do it for both generations of console. But with the split, if you left legacy players with access to the app and they had a current gen console, you could potentially get weapons that shouldn't exist onto the legacy console.

I'm on a ps4 but it is pretty ridiculous they cut u guys off. I'm guessing its a ploy to make u guys wanna buy a new gen if u still want full access. I heard they dropped legacy users from the app to decrease lag in the app, but that sounds like total bs to me.

Edited by KannibalKlown: 8/22/2016 4:56:22 AMI imagine it's due to people having concurrent accounts on legacy and current consoles. As some might still play on both (even if they're disjointed) That the app isn't able to handle showing you your xbone and 360 legends and stuff.

8 RepliesI miss the cool stats. It used to be such a handy and nice looking tool to look up info about my game character. Much easier than in-game.
