Xûr will continue to appear on legacy consoles but his inventory has changed: effective August 16th 2016.

Clearly it isn't working. Because he only has ONE Legacy Engram. Obviously a bug. Just letting you know their ISN'T any regular exotic engrams.

His inventory is correct. -Encrypted Exotic Engrams may be sold. These will decrypt into Year Two Exotics. -Encrypted Legacy Engrams may be sold. These will decrypt into Year One Exotics. There is no guarantee he will sell a normal exotic engram and legacy engram the same week.

Well that can't be right. They made it sound like before that the engrams would REPLACE the individual exotics. Which means 5 different engrams should be in his inventory. Either it's a bug. Or somebody lied. lol

Will you at least send this message along to someone for me? Can we AT THE VERY LEAST get our stats back? I have a bunch of good top tier medals that I can't even look at anymore. I got the 5 quick kills in a row medal the other day and couldn't remember what it was called or if I had one before and I couldn't look it up. And I like to keep up with my k/d from time to time as well. If I can still look at my Halo 2 and Halo Reach stats I think it should be ok to look at my Destiny stats. lol

I'm not saying your wrong. I'm just saying it's not fair and that's not what it sounded like was going to happen. I bet I know what they did. Going off what you said. It sounds like instead of changing the way Zur acts for us legacy players completely, they just put in a quick disabling code. So that instead of giving us a bunch of engrams too choose from INSTEAD of the individual armor pieces... They just had the code disable those pieces from showing up on legacy consoles. So whatever engrams he happens to sell that week for PS4 and Xbox One is ALL that shows up in Zur's inventory for us legacy players. So the most we can get is TWO engrams and that's only if we are lucky enough for him to be selling two engrams for PS4 and Xbox One. Sounds about like that. Sounds like they decided to go the cheap and easy route instead of helping us legacy players out. But it's whatever. Not your fault. Thanks for letting me know at least. :)

They're not really obligated to help legacy players out. They continue to represent about 5% of the entire player population at this point and shrinking. Legacy support is more of a hinderance on developers the longer it has to be supported than being something that needs more attention. So yes, it is cheap, but with good, valid reasons.

Edited by GrundleBeans: 8/19/2016 10:14:32 PMIt's more of a projection. It's been a couple months since they announced that there were only 10% of players on legacy consoles. A rounded estimate I assume. It could have been 10.9 or 9.5 for all we know. But we do know that the numbers were on a downward trend and with RoI coming in a matter of months, those numbers would drop further. So by the time we get to RoI, it's very likely going to be somewhere around 5% with a margin of +/-3%. I think when RoI arrives, the number will have a more drastic drop off regardless of what it is now when they truly feel what they're missing out on.
