I find the fact that there are numerous websites and streamers out in the open charging ridiculous amounts of money to decevieingly play other people's accounts and get them trials wins, effectively ruining the point of trials and totally throwing off all stats and records of what is actually going on....this ruins trials for normal players like myself who find it shameful, embarrassing and disgusting that this is going on...I'm a collector and fiercely competitive and I want the cat emblem...there is no reason I should have to deal with the best players in the world all day monopolizing matchmaking with misleading stats and making money off desperate people bad enough that they have no chance of their own...you are supposed to earn in this game not buy it, except cosmetic.....someone agree? Is this wrong?

9 RepliesTrials and all the scrubs defending it are a joke. Bungie is a joke for promoting streamers regardless of the cause. Giving Trials special match making treatment says it all. Bungie is afraid to anger the streamers so they crap on 90% of the player base to satisfy 10%. Trials should be done away with or given the same treatment as every other Crucible game type. I was watching a stream once... they were using the "raffle" system. A guy comes in offering a sponsorship to the streamer... 1 minute left on the raffle... guess who won the raffle???? It's all rigged and streamers are the worst cancer to hit the gaming community... ever. I wouldn't pee on a streamer if they were burning alive.

Anything people want, people will sell. I object to trafficking in human beings, narcotics, and weapons for criminals. I honestly don't care if someone sells their services as a video game mercenary.

5 RepliesEdited by ok and 2: 8/19/2016 11:08:01 PMNeed that elusive flawless emblem, but don't have the money to cough up for the big boys? Well now you can get the emblem, without the cost! It's free and easy! With these simple steps, you'll be saying bye bye to the red dots on your TOO cards! 1. Go to twitch 2. Go to "Destiny" directory 3. Scroll down into the 10< viewer streams 4. Find a stream of which suits your needs 5. Find out how the you get carried, if they ask for money, leave and find another stream. 6. Repeat step 5 until you have found a stream that doesn't require money 7. Be friendly and active in the chat, don't be shy! 8. Wait 9. Once you're selected (waiting list, raffle, or what have you) join their fire team 10. ??? 11. Say hello lighthouse!
this is how I got to the lighthouse, I promise this works most of the time.
I agree those people shouldn't be able to charge money Bungie should write something saying you cannot charge money to play

Best bet dude is to report anyone you find that charges for it. It's against the law as the are illegally making money off a business that they don't work for. Report them to law enforcement, bungie and Activision just to be safe. I've already done it to a few and never seen them again.

1 Reply*Sigh* You see this is the common misconception with trials. Most the time you aren't going against people that are the "best in the world" but people around your level making it seem harder (theres definently some SBMM) Although I do think you shouldn't have to pay for flawless as it's easy as hell anyways. But if people support streamers and want to go flawless that badly let them throw their money away.

Trials is trash anyway. Its the biggest collection of asshats. I put very little time into it, but when i help out my friends all i can do is shake my head. If its pay to win let them spend there money on trash. Theres more gratification spending money on other things than this nonrelevent junk.

3 RepliesOf course its not wrong. With game lag any advantage is good.In a capitalist society earning a crust if your good enough is to be appreciated. Its just a game and fu*k kd ratios because game lag is and always will be the deciding factor. Ask yourself this.....one player gets 60 kills the rest can only individually get 7 a piece. Thats not skill, thats bullshit.

6 RepliesHow is this any different than playing with a highly skilled freind who does most of the heavy lifting?
-
7 RepliesU must just be terrible if u can't go flawless I've been 22 times and don't get me wrong I'm pretty damn good but I'm not amazing just learn team work pick a character with cheap grenades and a cheap super like void walker axion bolt chase is perfect

But the cat emblem is purely a vanity item, so paying for it is surely as acceptable as buying an emote?

1 ReplyNever give your account info out to ANYONE, FOR ANYTHING.....

Edited by Kaius117: 8/20/2016 1:43:31 AMI like the idea of trials, it's just a bunch of people sniping which makes the gameplay so slow.

Need one more for lighthouse

If somebody wants to pay money in order to win, it does not bother me. I feel bad for anyone who resorts to that

why would you even let a stranger borrow your account?

Get your bread up and use the sweatiest set up their is to beat them

2 RepliesTrials isn't competitive. It never has been. It's a randomly matched playlist.

Everything has a price guardian.... $$$$$

4 RepliesIsn't the emblem cosmetic?

You won't get any sympathy here. Bungie encourages this to keep the interest in the game alive especially through content droughts. They even help these young "businessboys" to make a living in this harsh world. Their "improvement" to trials matchmaking from connection-based to win-based has made Flawless Victory a much more exclusive and expensive product. From $20 in year 1 up to $100 in year 2. From public playlist skill based matchmaking lag-to-win to trials playlist win based matchmaking pay-to-win the Crucible team is doing a fantastic job if I may say so my self!

This isn't pay to win. It's just a waste of money
