You know what? I've decided, for the first time, I won't purchase RoI.

We always procrastinate about this. Questioning whether its a good idea or not. How can one person make a difference? I mean I won't buy the DLC, so what a 1000 more people will buy it. However thats not the point. The metaphor can be seen a a drop of water compared to an ocean, what difference does it make? In absolute math, A LOT.
...and it really brings to mind in regards to that aspect, that physically we can't see a difference, but the fact that you did is what counts. It doesnt matter if 10 or 100 ppl do it, as long as YOU did, others will soon follow and suddenly the ocean isnt so "full" anymore.
Do what you feel is best. Still playing Ark, gearing up for Titanfall 2.

Console exclusives have been around for years. You not purchasing ROI for Xbox will only make Activision shower PS4 with even more exclusives. The company is hungry for money, and will always gravitate towards the console with the most sales. Bungie isn't to blame. Venting at Bungie won't make the "full experience" problem just disappear. Activision is the publisher, and therefore make the marketing decisions. I'm sorry you're on the short end of the stick this time around. Just be happy all of ROI isn't delayed a whole 3-12 months, and that its just a few exclusive items instead.

I am happy I haven't pre-order ROI yet, and still deciding if I should support this bullshit or not. It will be fun for the first 2 weeks. But destiny's really a shit game if you don't have people to play it with. For the past 2 weeks, all of a sudden my friends dropped out of the world of destiny. Just as new news was coming out. So I log in solo.. Play one pvp game and shut off. Usually Iron banner is something we all look forward to. By now, I should have close to 40 hours played. I think I only played 2 hours this week and non of my teammates have been on at all. It sucks, but it lets me see the side of the game a solo player sees. It's pretty shitty. With titanfall 2 around the corner and battlefield 1. I think this will be the first time in 2 years destiny won't be played anymore. Feels weird, cause I love destiny.

Sony is winning this battle, quit making every xbox owner seem like a whiny self entitled brat. Money is changing hands if you dont like it tell microsoft to sell more consoles and try to make a profit.. Sony has been king for current gen consoles for two years, they have the cash to spend microsoft does not. (they do but they don't have a high enough budget for gaming).

We were told ONE year for exclusives... now it's TWO years... That's the problem. They should stick with what they said and give us the exclusives after one year.

Ive owned xbox far longer then i have a playstation. Is that you're only come back? You've probably never even touched the original xbox with halo, i play destiny on both consoles i own both because both have exclusive games coming out for them. No reason to own just one unless you're poor

So you own both consoles yet you still see nothing wrong with them randomly extending the exclusives....???? Since you like to make random comparisons ,here's one... If you got thrown in jail for a year and then without explanation your sentence got extended to 2 years, would that not be irritating??? The fact is they went back on what was originally stated. People deserve to be a bit ticked and people who have the content shouldn't care! Really though why do you care? You got what Sony paid for so that's it...

Come to think of it I play on xbox and man the system is so broken now. Lag all the time, party chat lag, game lag, fail to sign in the list goes on. Xbox too focus on what they want to do and not hearing about the complaints of their customers, there's been times where I was or say percent wise not going to get live no more. Microsoft is focus more on PC, labtops, desktops, etc. Also if Microsoft keeps this trend I will say good by to Xbox and switch over, they really made me salty on a lot of things. Sony(those Sony exclusive) and Nintendo(metroid) are my to favorite gaming companies, Microsoft's Xbox I was well hook line and sinker-ed into it by friends. (well for call of duty)

Your Xbox in particular might have some issues but I can't really say I've had too many experiences like that.

I think its due to I went into there beta program and was fooled on the deals that they would do for Us beta dashboard(home screen) people.

Does microsoft have any viable exclusives? They have gears of war, and forza. And yea theres a lot of problems with the dashboard and the system. Could run faster if it wasn't so cluttered. I will still continue to play both consoles, money is changing hands and can't do a thing about that.

I choose forza over gears, why Gears was good until they continue with Gears 4. Same goes with Halo good up to a certain point. I don't really see that many people on my friends list playing any gears game, forza or Halo. I see a lot of Destiny and Cod. So really Xbox exclusives have almost turned to dust. Yeah that true about money is changing hands on who gets what.

I've supported Bungie since Halo: Combat Evolved. They've obviously forgot the player base that helped make them. Each time they release a new DLC, I think it'll be different this time. I've been around since Beta, played for 2452h and have deleted 14 characters (just for the chance at max light gear). I'm in the top 2% for the amount of time people have put into this game. This is not the game that was originally promised, and I'm done hoping they'll make good on that promise. It's not just about the exclusives for me. It's also the constant Nerfs and how they can't seem to separate PVP from PVE. I'm tired of my weapons and abilities getting f[b]u[/b]ucked because of PVP b[b]i[/b]tching. Then there's the fact that there still no private servers. It's almost like the condone lag switchers. I'll play till RoI, but after that I'm done. I will be one of those players who no longer funds this Frankenstein's Monster of a game. [spoiler][/spoiler]

Thats whats up brother. Like, I'm literally turned off. Thats how much you know it matters and cares to you. That you've lasted this long, just hoping, trying to give reasons to their sanity. Truth is, our compassion compels us otherwise. Yes, I was hyped and in a small way, still am. But after this continued BS. Not anymore. Seriously, I didn't even log onto Destiny today and info from RoI suddenly seemed so bland and uninteresting. Loaded up the Titanfall 2 MP beta test, open to Xbos, Xboners and ps4 peeps alike. It was great and for the first time, had me yelling and jumping in my seat after destroying a titan.

Welcome to the club, friend. Glad you could see past the Traveler's false light for the real light. It's like a whole new world opens up once you finally stop playing this game. Even if you were playing other stuff on the side, it's still a very refreshing experience.
