I'm just so lost after this patch, they nerfed Genji but yet buffed two of the most annoying characters of the game, compared to Genji, Mercy and Mei are problems I run into every game, not much of Genji because not everyone can use him, what are your guys thoughts on this.
(Like fr though, Mercys healing was fast enough and they made it even faster)

Genji didn't take skill to use, get over it everyone. You all will probably continue constantly jumping around while spamming his basic attack anyway.

2 RepliesI said the same thing when they ninja nerfed Symmetra on console...... http://us.battle.net/forums/en/overwatch/topic/20747744811 That's for those that didn't know about it.... Blizzard have shown, since the day they first developed their first game, that they have zero clue about balance. They keep screwing with things no matter how balanced the community think things are and whether or not some things need reworking. They buff things that didn't need buffing, nerf things that don't need nerfing, buff something and then say it needs nerfing (stand by for Zenyatta nerf coming up now Blizz have said they made him too strong). Blizz have a history of screwing with balance with constant nerfs and buffs, they have been at it for over a decade with WoW. Overwatch is their shiny new toy to screw around with. At the end of the day, I have never had any confidence in Blizz with regards to balance. They can't leave anything alone no matter how close to balanced something is. They are absolutely clueless when it comes to this kind of thing. Not one single person asked for the Symmetra nerf yet Blizzard snuck it in when they nerfed Torb's turret. I repeat, clueless. As a Mercy player, she in no way needed buffing. She's gone from being an incredibly strong healer to be ridiculously overpowered.

1 ReplyGenji isn't hard to play. Mash the jump button while spamming attacks. His ult didn't need reduced. I would say maybe a 2 sec cool down on his double jump if anything, but I thought he was fine

Edited by What I Look Like: 8/19/2016 1:43:50 PMI'm beyond ready to see the neckbeards native to these forums claim Blizzard can't balance games after hailing Overwatch as damn near perfect. Now they aren't getting what they want, let the tears commence. You're all looking for some PvP to replace Halo, basically. Too bad that's a lot easier to replace than you're willing to admit.. seeing as you're all actually willing to pay $60 for a PvP only game anyway I don't think there is any room for denial.

3 RepliesThey buffed Mercy in the wrong way. Her healing never was the issue; it was her survivability. She is the ONLY healer that can not defend herself while healing. She has the exact same amount of health as the others, but can't fight while healing. That puts her at a massive disadvantage. They either need to give her more health or a method of self-defense while healing.

Very sad tbh.

Haven't played overwatch since the patch yet, so idk

4 RepliesEdited by A Tigerstorm: 8/19/2016 3:28:35 AMI want to kill the person that -blam!-ed with Genji. I might not be a weaboo, but I'm sure as hell mad as hell.

3 RepliesAnybody else think it's weird that a game that was In Beta so long is now being changed constantly. The worst part is all the buffs & nerfs have made the game more unbalanced than when it launched.
-
With genji, all that needed nerfing was his ult and the thing where he could dash through traps, other than that, he was fine, this is coming from someone who mainly plays genji
-
I barely played genji and I'd honestly love to be able to play him some day.

7 RepliesI'm more annoyed at the road hogg buff he is already op as hell

Outrageous

2 RepliesThey buffed Mercy? Well, to me that seemed unnecessary, but then again, I just got the game. That being said, every match I played as Mercy and I (think) I was doing just fine. Ah well, I just hope this buff doesn't result in more healers, as they'll lose me a job. (or rather, preferred class)

1 ReplyWhen was this patch, just got the game
-
I think the genji nerf makes sense. No way he should be able to dash over a junkrat trap with no trouble. Also, his ult did last a little too long.

1 ReplyWhat did they do to genji?hes my fav but I haven't played since update, also curios about the buffs
-
9 RepliesWhat exactly did they change?
-
Haven't tried new Genji yet, so I can't say.

Mei's buff was justified. I watch competitive Overwatch and almost no one uses her. Whenever she is used, the team using her loses.
