Thing is that the screen doesnt shake that much, but the gun itself shakes too much. Which gives the impression of uncontrollable screenshakes. Stability is high and correct, the gun doesnt kick vertically. The thing is.... the design of the gun itself, the gun was designed to shake alot, so stability doesnt matter. It needs less shaking, smooth out the gun. Not the screen.

Bump. Hardlight has been my bae since Y1.

3 RepliesIt's called hard Light because it kicks really hard. That's the intent. The balance of the Weapon is shake shape and recoil in exchange for Seriously impressive stats.
-
1 ReplyI really don't understand why so many people are complaining about this. I used it a couple days ago and it didn't bother me at all, or rather, I barely noticed a difference from other guns at all. If you can't handle it, don't use the gun.

Nerf hard light

1 ReplyEdited by Capt_McNugget: 8/19/2016 1:34:27 PMIts actually really good right now but nobody is using it. Im getting double kills so constantly with it.

Edited by TFL Washington: 8/19/2016 6:14:11 PMThere's a reason it's there. If you can't figure out why then maybe you should stop using the gun.

1 ReplyHard light b like brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... Screen b like shaaaaaaaaaaake. Titans b like shoulder charge uni remote clap emote. Hard light b like frowny face.

The screen shake disrupts the ability to be accurate at ranges that most ARs can do well at.
-
It's not that bad
-
Or you could research what the different perks do and how to use them

The screen shake does need an adjustment on this gun, not massively, just enough of a reduction to encourage more people to use it. In fact overall it's in a good place this gun, a good all rounder, you just have to stick to its strengths. It's two biggest strengths are 1. zero damage drop off, if you can get use to burst firing head shots it can still be used at m/l range. 2. Over penetration. Now this may sound crap at first. However, the amount of people that get saved by a team mate with full health jumping into a gun fight right in front of someone I'm about to drop is beyond counting for me. With the over penetration you can keep firing, drop the person behind that's just been saved and maybe drop the new person as well. Great fun for close quarters maps, not for anything that's consistently long range.

I'd say bungie should do a stream were they show some of the changes that they want to make and then put up a poll for if they should add the changes or not, hardlight's screen shake being one of them. However it's a change by itself meaning that you don't have to vote for a whole patch you can just vote for stuff you like.

2 RepliesThis is true. I never use this gun. Ricochet perk is horrible. It's pure aesthetics. Who here has found it useful? Probably no one. Actually there is one use for ricochet.. To kills yourself. Just for amusement.
-
1 ReplyIt's not really a problem you just have to get used to it
-
Finally got it not to long ago. I like it, but don't use it to often
-
5 RepliesEliminated? No. Adjusted? Yes. If there was no recoil/screen shake it could melt anyone anywhere with no downside. As for the body "make it great again", hardlight never owned the battlefield.
-
Maybe not removed, but reduced signifigantly at the least. It's got great perks and good stats, but's pretty much unusable at anything other than close to medium-close range.
-
Maybe not eliminate it entirely, but at least reduce it for the sake of balance.
-
1 ReplyI don't know. I'm a little skeptical of removing camera shake, but maybe decrease it within reason.
-
2 RepliesHonestly I doubt that will ever happen, think about it without that camera shake what is stopping it from cross snipping? With its no damage fall off.
