Correct on all that. I got lucky and my LHFer has SS, quickdraw and fastdraw sights. I generally go for quickdraws, mainly for handling and ads time, but SS has it's place with me as well. Hidden hand isn't that great of a perk for me, really. Aim assist isn't something I need more of, and I feel like it gets in the way of a shot from time to time, if another hit box intersects with the sights. So I'll take additional AA if it's there, but I don't go looking for it. Everyone has a different feeling on that, but since it does nothing to bullet magnetism or hit registration, I leave it more often than I take it.

I don't know. I do feel like there is more bullet magnetism. I honestly feel like hidden hand enlarges the hit box. My number of head shots do go up with it.

Edited by Technohydra: 8/16/2016 7:42:24 PMI've never been able to replicate that effect in testing, and I don't know of anyone else that has either. That being said, there's nothing saying that it isn't true, just that I don't have 10:1 framerate footage of it happening like it does with the range / accuracy changes. It could just be that hidden hand is doing it's job and sticking the reticle to heads a tiny bit longer, and your shots are registering accordingly. If I get some time in the IB madness, I may cap some video to test it a bit more, it's been a while since I looked at it. it should also be noted that increasing your range does have the effect of granting additional aim assist effective distance as well. I've seen tests that say exactly what you say. But for some reason it just works better for me during game play. I am by no means an amazing player so perhaps it is as you say with just making the reticle more sticky. I also think the hidden hand perk has been a bit of mystery as know one knows how much AA it adds or if it had other hidden attributes.

I'm going to share a deep, dark, secret with everyone: if it works for you, and it works better, -blam!- the numbers and do it your way, lol. By all rights, hand cannons shouldn't be terribly competitive based just on TTK, but I got high score with one every IB, almost went unbroken with one yesterday, and have gotten a few breakers with it. It shouldn't work, the numbers say no, but it works for me, so I do it. Understand that numerically, you might be able to find a better advantage elsewhere, but there's no reason not to do what works for you. If your choice of perks feels better to you than the one I can numerically endorse, you're still in the right.
