Destiny is STILL having this issue from the last update. I STILL can join a fireteam with someone in my house. Truly pathetic how Bungie screws something up and doesn't care enough to fix it. What a disgrace.

1 ReplyHey there, If you find yourself struggling to play with family & friends on your Local Network, the following steps seem to be a temporary resolution for other users experiencing similar instances. If you receive the "Unable to join fireteam" error, the person who received the error should follow these steps: 1. Click the Xbox Guide button to minimize Destiny. 2. Click the Start/Menu button and choose Quit. 3. Launch Destiny again. Often an error saying "Unable to connect to Destiny servers" will appear, with an option to Dismiss the error. This will kick you back to the "Click-A-To-Start"-Destiny Title screen. 4. Click A. You should now be able to select your character. If followed correctly, you may now be able to join fireteams of local network. You can even switch characters and rejoin each other. However, this process will have to be repeated each day.
