Error Code Weasel

Hello, i'm getting disconnected from the game then brought to a screen with an error code "Weasel", after trying to cash in on a completed bounty, which then brings me back to the title screen asking me to log back in. I can log in successfully and I am able to play the game without a problem everytime, its only until I try to cash in on that specific completed bounty (Challenge The Court: Antiquated Rune) I get booted and the error screen comes up. Not sure if this is the correct place for me to express my concerns as its my first time writing here. Thanks to all who can assist.

  • I am getting error code Weasel when I try to log in to Destiny on the Xbox 360. I want to bring my characters up to current status before accepting the Xbox One update that breaks the link between 360 and One. Can't log in though. All day 16 Aug 2016 and so far all day 17 Aug.

    • I'm sorry to hear that you're having connection issues. Sometimes these are intermittent and just happen once, or for a short period of time, due to network conditions between you, Bungie, and other players. Other times it can be related to your home network, other devices connected to your network, or the connection with your ISP. When you see a variety of different errors in a short period of time like this it typically indicates that there's an issue with the connection along the route that traffic is taking from your console to Bungie, or the P2P connections Destiny utilizes to connect you to other players. Take a look at our (comprehensive!) Network Troubleshooting Guide to learn how to get the optimal network setup for playing Destiny. Even when other games seem to be working fine we've found that Destiny may require a few tweaks to your network to get the best performance.
