Bump. Here's to hoping this works. Been two weeks so far with no fix from Bungie.

I just posted, I have been trying to play with my daughter since getting her a Xbox One and a copy of Destiny. However, we can not join each others fire team and I am looking for a solution. It is unfortunate that I have to purchase two Xbox One consoles and two copies of Bungie just to play with my kids. However, I did it and now we still can not play together. Is there a technical resource from Bungie or a link that will help troubleshoot?

Right there with you. Same situation. Bought another TV, another XBox One and Copy of Destiny along with a gold live subscription. It's frustrating for sure! I've followed the above instructions for two days straight now and its worked. Last night, it took me about 20 minutes of attempts to get it to work, but when it finally did, I was able to change characters, etc. My set-up is one hardwired Xbox One and one wireless. The wireless one joining the hard wired one is the only way that the process above works for us. Good luck!
