Holy crashes. There are constant spikes and fps drops, making the game unplayable. I understand that some games have rocky releases, but you should at least make the game playable, ESPECIALLY SINCE YOU DELAYED OTS RELEASE TO IRON IT OUT. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

5 RepliesI'm permanently stuck in my solar system because there's no atlas space station in my system to give me antimatter. I've scoured the 4 planets and the regular space station. Nobody can give me antimatter. No atlas monoliths on any planer just korvax ones. If I can't restart or figure it out I'm returning the game because I don't know what else to do.

7 RepliesWhat? I've been playi for the past 10 hours, running at a smooth 60fps on 1920x1080p with no lag or crashes.

Reminds me of Arkham Knight...

I've been playing just fine. It does seem to freeze for like 3 seconds whenever I open the game up, and there's that weird thing where when I start up my ship it launches me to space pretty much instantly sometimes but otherwise I'm fine. I'm just happy I'm liking the game and I'm not bored of it after 3 hours like I there people were.

1 ReplyEdited by Green Twister: 8/13/2016 1:09:49 AMi heard about the backlash i dont think they expected that much players to play it day one. i read on twitter that there were some server issues.
I've figured out a fix for some of the hitching and FPS instability. Turns out there's a GSync variable in a config file and its set to true. Change the following in SteamApps\common\No Man's Sky\Binaries\SETTINGS\TKGRAPHICSSETTINGS.MXML <Property name="GSync" value="false" /> <Property name="FullScreen" value="false" /> <Property name="Borderless" value="true" /> This seems to solve most of the hitching and FPS drops for me. Also, you can up your fov here. 180 seems more like 110, and it's far more pleasant.
Found this from Reddit, I recommend following these and testing it to see if it works as other comments stated it fixed the issue (the Values will be different once in the files, the post is just what to change it too to clear up confusion)

Turn the max FPS up

2 RepliesPeople have to remember it's a small Indie developer. They don't have the same servers as a multi million dollar company. The definitely did not expect the game to be as popular as it is. I'm sure that they will be working on patches in the next few days to fix this stuff as best as they can. Also for frame rate it has a max frame rate of 30 by default. Turn that up to max for the best results.

9 RepliesBought it, played it, hate it. Wish i never bought it. Over hyped inde game made by 15 people with a AAA price tag.
-
I had one crash with in the first 30 min on PS4. But the rest has been fine. The frame rate slows down at times for some reason but It still works
-
PC MASTER RA.... I'll be back
-
The ps4 version is running great. I've only had a few crashes and that was when I was warping.
-
I'm using a GTX 1070 and the game is running like shit
-
As if I were to buy a game for the toaster, I mean ps4, other than Ratchet & Clank; i'd rather wait.

2 RepliesEdited by Psychic Donuts: 8/13/2016 1:22:27 AMThose issues aren't for all people.
-
Be glad that you can walk around mine crashes about 3 seconds after the title shows
-
For some reason, I've had no problem, even running the game at max settings. At worst, there is the occasional FPS dip.
-
Yelling doesn't make me listen 😕
-
3 RepliesGO TO SETTINGS. THERE IS AN OPTION FOR MAX FRAMES. ITS DEFAULT AT 30 CHANGE TO MAX. GAME RUNS GREAT
-
And yet I was playing it fine while also having Autodesk Maya rendering animation. Interesting.
-
Yeah for some reason it thinks my specs are shit but I don't understand they're way better than what steam says. I can play it on low but I shouldn't have to.
-
I had the issue to begin with, but it stabilised by the time I took a break and watched some TV. My main gripe is that the 5760x1080 support is shit.
