I liked the HoW system with every endgame drop having a random element
I liked the TDB and VoG system of every raid drop having set in stone great perks
I wish they would merge the 2, i like that they're keeping 1to1 infusion in y3, i wish they would combine a random element to a gun with great perks
I don't mind not having burns on legendarys, make all exotic primaries have a burn but
if the burns are off the table, please, for the love of god make the guns have good perks
the main reason I hardly bothered with the raid in y2 was because the guns were such garbage
they all have horrid stats, the perks are totally random and they can only roll 1 main and 1 secondary perk because cocoon takes up a whole primary perk node
and cocoon is only marginally useful on the raid guns because they purposely set the reload stats so low.
every other legendary weapon in the game is automatically on a higher tier than every raid weapon because they get 2 main and 1 secondary perk, and the base stats are better nearly all around.
and yes, quiliams is in that list, it's not that great. you were always getting killed by it because everyone had one because it was a guaranteed 320 drop from the easiest challenge boss, so everyone used it.
now that 1to1 infusion exists, and there are more places to get 330+ drops you hardly ever see it in pvp anymore.
every other legendary hmg in its archetype class in the game is better because of the perk tree
