Separating PvE from PvP would completely ruin Destiny. It a model was for every gun to work the same in PvE as it does in PvP so that your guardian always stays the same.

Lol you loose your participation trophy. Next time come up with an idea that the adults can talk about.
-
Wtf are you talking about, this is literally what Bungie said. Next time go -blam!-ing read before you start pulling out the "you're just a kid and you're stupid" card when you have no idea what you're talking about or who you're talking about.
-
Hey, remember that line? ''Become Legend''
-
So if your so right why dose nearly all of the community want pvp and pve separate
-
Because they think PvE needs everything to be OP.

Edited by Daymon2012: 9/10/2016 8:23:16 PMAt the beginning of a dlc no you should not feel op but once you reach max light you should pvp took that away and it's stupid you can come of you high horse and admit your wrong
-
Edited by Damo: 9/10/2016 12:40:50 PMIt's already ruined... with the pvp nerfs for all pve things...
-
dude it is already seperated. I am sure you have seen lvl 5 guardians in crucible.. no way they are doing the same damage there as in pve.. tell them to goto kf and see how the guns they use actually stack up. it is already different. My year 2 weapons do different damage in pvp than they do in pve so why not balance the weapons properly.
-
That's because level advantages are off. They would be preforming just the same in PvE against Lv5 enemies as hey would in PvP.
-
I don't need a reasoning, I have played nearly 2400 hours and understand how destiny works however, it is time to split the two sides to give it proper balance. You can't say weapons act exactly the same in pvp and pve and then put caveats like level advantages to be off and say they are still acting the same as they clearly do not.
-
Go look at Iron Banner and Trials bro
-
again you are missing the point. THEY DO NOT ACT THE SAME IN ALL AREAS ALREADY. That is the point. If they don't act the same now, what is the big deal about a balance being struck in pvp and the weapons and gear giving or taking different damage in pve and vice versa. It is already happening.
-
Except they are. The weapons are the exact same in PvP and PvE. Hey have the exact same recoil patterns, they do the exact same damage, they do everything the exact same in both. Why are you trying to argue something hat isn't true?
-
because they do not do the exact same thing or you wouldn't need to have light advantages turned on or off.
-
That's called game mechanics bro. Normal Crucible just makes everyone at the same level. That's all it does.
-
and those same game mechanics change how guns work.
-
No they don't. You are being so ignorant it's not even funny. You sir are the 2nd person I'm ever muting. I don't have time to explain how Destiny works to 12 yr olds.
-
Now who is being ignorant and assuming age? Im 40 years old and our conversation is over. Your mind is made up and there is no point in discussing our view points on the issue.
-
Yeah, held back by the darkness....
-
Yea that's working out great isn't it, everything is so balanced
-
The only thing that's not is Snipers.

Edited by TheShadow: 8/15/2016 6:19:25 AMWhat do you do for a living? Because from looking at how many raid completions you have. Your life is nothing but Destiny. Y1 weapons worked across the entire board. Y2 don't, so sorry have to disagree that they don't need to be separated. It's selfish of Bungie to allow y1 and everything else to work as normal in PvP, but cap y1 at 170 for PvE? PvE wasn't made to be like PvP...
-
Y2 weapons are very effective. Y1 weapons got left behind because they were all OP in terms of PvE.
-
Y2 weapons are very effective. Y1 weapons got left behind because they were all OP in terms of PvE.
Actually if you look at it. It's never been about the weapons. It's Bungie's lake on making better mechanics and actual content that expands the game. If they were so Op, why is Bungie bringing them back like Gohorn and saying it's back as it was before y1 nerf useing it as a marketing tool? So when gamers say they were removed because they were Op. It wasn't even that at all...
-
What ever conspiracy you want to believe go ahead. I'm not dealing with more bullshit. I've had enough with people saying Raid chests do this and that without even knowing. As for Ghorn, they said it is in its nerf state, but as it is, it's still a great weapon. You just can't expect the Wolfpack rounds to clear up kills for you at insane ranges in PvP, or melt a boss in PvE. It's just as effective as every other exotic heavy.
