Coming from a player that mostly plays PvE, the changes made in PvP do keep PvE in check. They make sure each weapon isn't more useful than the others or and ability is more useful than the others.
As for Sunsingers, the changes to VF buffed the class.

Haha, nice joke

PvE isn't too balanced. I mean, running out of ammo quickly for special and heavy sucks and 98% or the time I have to rely on my primary. I could go and collect ammo, but when in situations where there is a crapton of enemies, that's not an option if you want to not die. PvE enemies are scaled to the characters so yes, while you can kill enemies somewhat quickly when your higher light, even the lowest level enemies can kill you just as fast. I can tell you how many times I've died on earth thanks to those Taken public events...recommended light level is like 50 or 60 yet a 335 can die in like 5 seconds or less, not to mention that if you were at Y1 light level you'd die in almost an instant.

Why are you relying on only Special and Heavy? Those are used to quickly take out targets, not kill every enemy you see. I have not once had a problem with Special or a heavy ammo in PvE. I might run out every once in a while, but that's supposed to happen. You don't have unlimited ammo.

A lot of encounters are centered around high dps and specific weapons. You're really blaming players for that? No encounter is suited for every single weapon and ability. To expect variety in any given scenario is plain idiotic.

That's why you move into range.
That's why you move into range.
Some encounters don't allow that. Most encounters are designed to fit certain playstyles.

I rely on them when taking out enemies that I'd want to deal heavy damage to such as Ultras or Bullet sponge majors or large mobs of enemies.
