You know... It's not a terrible solution.
Two birds one stone.
Makes year 1 raids worth running again. (For the elemental primary weapons)
And gives us elemental Primaries.
I know there's haters in this thread, but this is a pretty decent solution.

No, its awful, adding elemental damage to any primary is a terrible solution, its a care bear solution. Make the raids harder, make their primaries elemental again, problem solved
