What happened to the mysterious stranger?
We see a lot of the stranger in the vanilla story, and just a few glimpses in the dark below but after that she is gone. So many questions are left with the stranger, I hope Destiny goes back into the original conflict, too little is known about the traveler and the lore

6 RepliesShe actually returns in year 2, but only in a small text on a Questlog during the No Time To Explain questline. Praedyth (not sure if I spelled that correctly) mentions being sent in and out of different timelines. He also mentions that he is in a cell, only able to see these timelines. (I believe this cell is the Vault of Glass.) what he says is very important and not many people have said anything about it. There is only one constant no matter where he goes in time. The Stranger... This tells us something about the Stranger. She has been lost, unintentionally jumping through different points in time for so long that she is in EVERY point in time. Quite interesting.

We averted the possible crisis of the black garden. We threw atheon off the vault; thus having their ontological power stay in the vault. And we've bested all their attempts to revert our actions. Currently she has no reason to return. After all, she did give us her gun. And then she assisted praedyth in building is the NTTE. Whilst I would love to pick maya's brain about shim, the brays, and especially the vex... I fear if and when she returns; it will be on dire circumstances.

She can't explain why she can't explain there still isn't a story in Destiny... So she's gone back in time to see when and why Bungie changed everything and made them game not reach its full potential... But then lag struck and a horde of angry beavers are keeping her at bay....

I think the other character she spoke to sometimes is rasputin. She as his agent.

1 ReplyI read somewhere that at first she was went to be a partner to Osiris so maybe we'll see more of her in Destiny 2. Maybe Osiris Built her with his knowledge of the Vex it might explain why she came go through time and space.
