Exclusion zone farming was running the first story mission on Mars (aka The Exclusion Zone) on hard and consuming a Network key to increase glimmer. You would load into the mission and make your way to the point where first encounter with the Cabal. The second wave will always be yellow-bar majors that would give to a good amount of glimmer. You would kill all except one and then kill yourself. This would start you over and from there you would repeat and rinse until the bonus from the Network key expired. (10 minutes) By doing this, you could net a good chunk of glimmer. Another popular farming was doing the The Dark Beyond mission on the Moon. Get to the point where you're in front of the Temple and get the "We've woken the Hive" - consume a Black Wax idol and kill every Hive except the yellow-bar Knight. Kill yourself and repeat. Now a days - we have Ghost that gives us bonus glimmer for killing enemies. I have a Ghost for each enemy for what I feel like killing in vast quantities.. My favorite spots to farm for glimmer: Earth - Rocketyard for either Fallen or Hive Venus - Ember Cave [Fallen] or Citadel [Vex] Mars - Scablands or Rubicon Wastes Moon - Start with the Hall of Wisdom and basically make my way through the underground and come back up at the Temple of Crota.. Lots of Hive
